Lovely Little Cottage
We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do.

Cute Little Cottage
I was in Chincoteague for a short weekend stay. Wanted something other than a hotel. This fit my needs. The cottage is a very compact, clean place to stay. Check in/ Check out was easy. Would stay there again.

Great spot for getaway
Perfect location for going to the town nearby and down to the boat tours or going the other way to lighthouse and nature trails and to see horses! Was just the right size for a couple to stay at night too

Very nice place
Clean. Comfy. Cozy. Quiet. Love it! Owner is very responsive and considerate. Advice to future travelers -- if you plan to go to Assateague Island and walk any of the wooded trails, be sure you have lots of effective mosquito repellant! Food (crab cakes!) and service at A.J.'s on the Creek were quite good.

This was the perfect place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The cottage is comfortable and private, yet located close to everything. It seemed even better being set back off of the main road.

The cottage was very comfortable and was perfect for the two of us for our two day visit to Chincoteague. It was very clean and had been very well renovated. We did not do any cooking while there but we could have as it had all of the necessities.

Awesome stay!
This was a perfect stay for myself, my daughter and 2 granddaughters. Although the cottage is small, it was plenty of space for the 4 of us and there are 2 wonderful decks to enjoy the outside too. The location was great and we enjoyed walking to the carnival, watching the pony parade, and going for an evening bike ride. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. We will definitely look at staying again next time we visit Chincoteague!

This cottage never disappoints! Every year our family takes a trip to Chincoteague and we stay here. It’s just the right size for us and we love having a place of our own. Cute, cozy, and very clean! Not to mention the view of the sun setting every night from the bay. We will be back next year!

Cute and Quiet Cottage
Jesse’s little cottage is the perfect Chincoteague weekend getaway. It’s set back far enough to be hidden from noise and tons of people, but only a short walk to the water to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The location and cottage itself is the perfect embodiment of Chincoteague. We will definitely be returning.

So, the process of arranging this trip was super simple and I will continue to use. My significant other was supposed to join me on this trip but had a family emergency and ended up going to NY. The neighborhood was quiet, minus my morning wake up calls from the seagulls and George and Martha, the ducks.

Everything in this cottage is perfect for my partner and I. The bathroom is a little smaller than we expected but other than that, everything was perfect and clean when we got there. Would definitely come back if we stay in in Chincoteague again.

Perfect place for a couple’s long weekend
Nice sized house, very clean, well decorated. Wonderful screened-in front porch; love the hammock chairs! Enjoyed the sun on the porch and short walk to see the sunset on the water. Big yard, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has all that you need for meals. Comfortable living room couches, nice bedroom. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for a couples get away!
The little cottage was set up to accommodate all of our needs for a short stay on the Eastern shore. Very clean and all furnishings were updated and stylish. It was a cool weekend but still enjoyed the porch.

Quick little get away.
We booked this place for a quick little getaway. The place was very clean and just a block off of Main Street. We were able to bring our kayaks and bikes which is why we like VRBOs. Would definitely recommend for a couples retreat .

Off Season Sweet Heart 2023 beginning of season
Dear Friends! This is the place to be to relax and enjoy the beginning of Spring. The home was perfect and easy to get around the island to enjoy our time away from the rat race. Yes, it was off season, right before the crowd's rule! No traffic, pleasant views and time to explore, wow, it was a peaceful time and We enjoyed it. Control burn on Assateague Island was new and exciting to understand. Taking the tour at sunset was a great time. The town was lightly open, so plan to look around for a place to eat and shop. Our Host was most enjoyable to deal with! Thanks Jesse!!!

Peaceful Cottage Stay
Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely plan for another future visit at the same location. The accommodations were better than expected. The cottage is in a convenient, quiet location and has easy access to downtown. The beach is minutes away. Enjoyed daily wildlife visits from critters like a fox, deer and bald eagle. Loved the chairs on the front porch!

Very comfortable little house. But the mosquitos in Chincoteague were horrible this year and made it impossible to enjoy the outdoors unless covered in DEET.

So sorry about the mosquitos, they come and go! We were they two weeks prior to your stay and we were relatively mosquito free. The mosquito population explodes after significant rain

Another wonderful stay
This cottage is just perfect for a few days away and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It was hot during our stay, but the air conditioner kept the cottage perfect. The outside deck and porch were enjoyable and that sunset at the top of the street was breathtaking!! Will surely return!!!

This was our 3 or 4th year renting this cottage ! It’s the perfect size cottage for my wife, my daughter and myself. We enjoy the cozy setting and love the screened in front porch w rope chairs. We’ll be back next summer if not sooner !

My partner and I had an amazing time in Chincoteague and absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We spent a lot of the time out at the national refuge or exploring the shops downtown but the cottage was the perfect place to unwind from a busy shopping day or a long walk on the beach. We spent a majority of our time sitting on the porch in the macrame hanging chairs enjoying the sunset and the night sky!

It was everything we expected. I'm not complaining, just letting you know the porch fan didn't work, and I had to take the back of the toilet off several times and put a tube on to get the toilet to work.

Great location
My boyfriend and I had a great 3 night stay here. The house is very cute and at a great location, we were able to bike to mostly everywhere we wanted to go. The front and back porches are great and there is a grill that we enjoyed using. I would recommend bringing your own bedding. Overall we had a wonderful stay!
