4/10 Poor

"No room service for over 3 days. Go to front desk for towels told they will be delivered to room and they never show up 3 days in a row. Another trip to front desk each morning to get towels to take showers. Garbage was not picked up for 3 days. This the worse service I have ever had. At over $200 a night, just not worth it."

"My stay at the Hampton Inn in Kingston, NY was slightly above average. The hotel was acceptable overall, but several issues should be addressed. The biggest concern was room security. The deadbolt and swinging door lock did not fully lock, which made the room feel less secure than expected. I also noticed limited staff presence during late-hour check-in, which made it harder to feel supported if an issue came up. Common areas also needed better attention. Unattended children were running wild in the dining area and disrupting other guests, but staff did not appear to step in. Near the pool area, guests left the tile floor wet, but there were no wet floor signs posted, creating a possible slip hazard. Overall, the stay was not terrible, but safety, staff oversight, and guest experience could be improved"

"This property is centrally located near Kingston and just across the bridge to Rhinebeck. While overall it is well maintained, the bathroom could use an update. How about getting a better hairdryer? For the inflated price they charge (which in on par surprisingly with many of the other hotels in the area), they should be able to upgrade the hairdryers. Breakfast is included and starts your morning on the right foot. A good place to stay."
