"We stayed here over Easter weekend while visiting family at Ohio University, and this place completely exceeded our expectations.From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. Not just clean and comfortable—but cozy, welcoming, and the kind of place you instantly relax in.The owners were amazing to work with—great communication and super accommodating. They even let us check in a day early, which gave us extra time to unwind (and made it very hard to leave at the end!).The cabin is set up perfectly for both relaxing and spending quality time together. The large dining table was a highlight—we ended every night playing games, laughing, and just enjoying being together.It’s peaceful, private, and feels like a true getaway, while still being close enough to Athens when you want to head into town.We actually joked during our stay that we might just become squatters… but in reality, we’re already planning our next visit. This may officially be our home away from home when visiting Athens.Highly recommend!"

"The space itself was absolutely amazing, and the outdoor features really stood out. The pond was perfect for fishing, and the paddle boats were a fun and relaxing addition that we truly enjoyed. However, there were several noticeable maintenance issues that took away from the overall experience. There were holes in the walls, missing trim, and peeling ceilings that made parts of the home feel dated and neglected. The pool table baskets were broken, and the hot tub cover was falling apart. Although the lights were labeled, they were still very difficult to figure out. Unfortunately, the hot tub also had an unpleasant smell. With some basic upkeep and attention to detail, this place could truly be incredible.”"

"What a great relaxing stay in a clean and cozy cabin! Lisa was a great host. Very responsive, cookies were a great touch. My girls loved staying in the loft. We live close enough to visit here again and again. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well. The kitchen had everything you need. So many quaint touches by the host that made the stay perfect. "
