Room was very dated. Whirlpool bath was too noisy to use. Patio door was very stiff and hard to open and close. View of canal was very poor needed to hang over the balcony to see it. Breakfast was rubbish cold and not very tasteful. Continental breakfast was just a croissant. Would not pay the money again. Thought we were booking a luxury hotel. Will not stay here again.

On arrival staff were very professional, we arrived early and could park and return later, no trouble at all. On site parking is very important and was safe and reasonably priced. The room was basic but very clean and tidy And all we required. All staff I encountered were very professional and polite, nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was all we required, cereal, fruit yoghurt etc full english, toast etc. The best thing about breakfast for me was that unlike other hotels we have stayed at , tea or coffee are brought to your table by the very helpful staff and toast is already made, no queueing by the toaster or tea machine, take note other hotels, There are gym facilities, and a very good swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi . We would not hesitate to return as the hotel, staff parking and location were exactly what we wanted. Well done Mill Spa Hotel.

Lovely two night stay.Hotel very clean with great amenities Breakfast good with choices and great cooked food.Ate in restaurant one night and bar the next and very happy with both Staff from reception to waiters and to cleaners all helpful and friendly.I would highly recommend .Large carpark with overnight cost Hotel in walking distance of centre of Chester Itself

Dirty nappy in top drawer of bedside cabinet, Corner shower very small, very hot, I got scalded, it wouldn't turn down nor off without help from my other half and door came off the hinges when I tried to get out. We were the only people in the restaurant, Ribeye steaks both ordered rare, came out medium at best and very tough. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Property needed some TLC

Great experience at the Mill. Great breakfasts, comfortable clean rooms, nice spa. Unfortunately the sauna was closed. Would have been nice to have body lotion in the bathroom and hooks to hang our wet towels. Other than that it was great!

I stayed in a Club Double which was well maintained and had the usual facilities for a 3 star hotel. I didn't use the gym but the swimming pool and spa facilities were easy to use and most pleasant. Close to the station, bus interchange and to the centre of Chester whilst not being right in the middle. The buffet breakfast was OK for a 3 star hotel but the quality of the coffee could be improved!

A good nights stay with an excellent breakfast, well located for the town centre. Only thing of slight concern was the size and location of the fire alarm in our room - right next to the bed at ear level and quite a size to say the least!

Only stayed the one night, and that was enough tbh. Plus point is use of the Pool, and Spa. Room was pretty bad tbh, crack in the sink, very dated suite, decoration wood chip wallpaper from the 70’s by the looks of it. Net curtains grey through dirt and hanging off the runners . Staff were great, full English breakfast was lukewarm, warm juice. For the£100

I always stay at the Mill when I come to Chester, ideal city centre lication , beautiful hotel and the staff are so friendly and chilled out and help create a really good atmosphere in the hotel

The location was excellent for exploring Chester. Room was a little warm and could do with a shelf or two in the bathroom. Breakfast was good although buffet service. Overall very good 3 star hotel.
