Gather with family and friends at our spacious home nestled in the Vermont woods.

The Blue Moon Bungalow is your home away from home, with everything you need for a relaxing getaway, with the beauty of nature all around. Our large, open floor plan, secluded 2 acres and spacious bedrooms make it the perfect location for multiple groups and families to enjoy.

We're a short 13 minute drive from Okemo/Jackson Gore and a 9 minute drive to downtown Chester with plenty to do and explore!

The Blue Moon Bungalow is a renovated camp with rustic charm and modern amenities. With enough beds to sleep 10 and a large great room on the first floor, it's the perfect escape for a group or multiple families. All linens and towels are provided.

Inside our cozy interior you'll find three flat screen tvs with Rokus to log into your preferred streaming services. Watch a movie, share a family dinner and play board games in our great room around the gas fireplace.

Take in the natural beauty of Vermont while relaxing on our sunny deck, playing yard games, exploring the property and making s'mores by the firepit. Be sure to check out the amazing stargazing from the deck on a clear night!

Perfectly located between Chester and Ludlow/Okemo there's something to do for the whole family. Outdoor lovers will enjoy the skiing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, hiking and leaf peeping. During the summer months book a scenic chairlift ride to the top of Okemo, take a ride on their mountain coaster and challenge yourself on their ropes course.

Within a 15 minute drive of the Blue Moon Bungalow you'll find plenty of antiquing, fine dining, breweries, live music, golf and more!

Please note:
- We have two security cameras, one next to the front door and one on the front of the house. They will be on during your stay.
- We highly recommend 4WD or AWD to get up the hill to our house in the winter.
- Pets are allowed with owner approval + a $75 pet fee. Please contact us for more information.

Cozy ski trip

We had a really sweet stay here. It was cozy and comfortable, and had everything as advertised. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies when we needed them, and the beds were comfortable. We had a great trip to Okemo!

Just what we needed

My adult children and I spent Labor Day weekend working on a building project in Chester. This home was just what we needed -convenient location, 4 bedrooms set up for couples, a very serviceable kitchen (we prefer to cook for each other), solid WiFi, and a private restful outdoor space. We would definitely stay there again!

Blue Bungalow was exactly as described. We were a family of 6 with 2 toddlers and a dog. All the beds were extremely comfortable. Margaret and Ben were accommodating to us prior to arrival-highly recommend this gem.

Great VT stay!

The Blue Moon Bungalow was the perfect place for our Vermont trip. We booked for nearly a full month and went back and forth every week. We were in regular contact with the homeowners who were very accommodating and quick to respond. The layout was perfect for our family of 4 (plus our dog) with bedrooms across the hall from each other upstairs. We had friends join us on the weekends who were able to have their own bedrooms downstairs. If there is a full house, it would be nice to have a second shower, but if you’re with close friends/family which is pretty typical for ski trips, it’s totally manageable! I would definitely recommend this home and I would stay there again (I’m already looking into availability for next year!).

Family ski getaway

This house was absolutely perfect for our family trip. It’s was cozy and comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds are very comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The house is very clean. We loved the gas stove! We definitely would love to come back! Thank you!

Amazing Stay for a New Years Ski Trip!

Our group had such a fantastic time at the blue moon bungalow. It was clean, spacious, and was equipped with everything we needed for our weekend away. The proximity to Okemo Mountain made for a convenient drive for a day of skiing. There was also a wonderful brewery only 5 minutes away that had live music & great beer. The hosts were super helpful and responsive to all of our needs and made our stay super easy. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful house!

We just stayed a week at this absolutely wonderful house for some skiing at Okemo. Everything was done so well. From the comfortable and firm mattresses and pillows to sparkling clean linens and towel, to minor things like 2ply toilet paper ;-), we wanted for nothing. The decor was adorable. Even my hard too please teens were happy! We will def be coming back to this house!

Great property perfectly located

My friends and I were in the area for the Annual 'Wheels In the Field" Adventure Motorcycle event. We wanted a place close to Chester center with amenities so we can come back from a long day of riding and relax. This place had it! Beautiful kitchen well equipped, warm showers, comfy beds, comfy furniture. The gas woodstove had ambiance and we even made a fire in the firepit. Overall, it was great.

Great Place, Location and an Excellent house

The property was amazing, and very spacious, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The house was very clean and the complimentary smores were a very nice touch. Would highly recommend this place.
