Two sets of locked doors made me feel safe. The hotel is off a side street as well, so there wasn’t much traffic. It was driving distance from restaurants and stores.
Only negatives we had were that the floor could’ve been mopped better. We used a swiffer and cleaned it ourselves. People in other rooms were microwaving food that shouldn’t be microwaved, and the smell carried.

We booked a room at Penn’s View about 10 minutes before arriving, after another accommodation fell through, and we’re so glad we ended up here. Every person we encountered was genuinely lovely, from the front desk and housekeeping staff, who were just finishing our room when we arrived, to the hostess, our server, and the rest of the team at the attached restaurant.
Our room was charming and clean, with the character you’d expect from an older hotel. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and...

Great location as we we’re going to the eastern penitentiary for a Halloween event and it was a five minute walk. The only problem is that there’s no on-site parking which I knew and you can do paid parking just out front or you can go to a lot just around the corner. It was no big deal and I was prepared. The staff was amazing. The rooms were big and clean and nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This property is beautiful. I had a large room with a king size bed, a balcony with a view of the bucolic grounds and everything was top notch, from the mattress, tv, plush bathrobe, washroom and toiletries. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Would have liked to have had a latte in the cafe but the machine wasn’t working. Other than that, my stay was excellent. Super close drive to downtown Wayne and great restaurants. Would stay here again in an instant.

Great hotel, clean and the rooms were suspicious. Breakfast was wonderful good selection and fresh with lots of variety. The espresso machine in the lobby was a bonus and so was cocktail
Hour. Would go stay at this hotel again!
