"Keep in mind this is a simple hostel (with no curfew). Nevertheless, I booked the more expensive private room. All my expectations were met. I had a clean, comfortable room/bed to sleep in. The hostel is along the main road and is near the center of town, but my room was very quiet -- I slept very well.
The bathrooms are separate -- the one I used was roomy and the shower was fantastic.

We actually was relocated from our original reservation which was only 6 mins from Watkins Glen State Park. Our initial reservation was confirmed but when we arrived at the property, there was no more available room. We had no choice but to go to where Expedia found for us to stay for the night on August 29th, which is 35 mins drive from Watkins and 32 kms away. However, it turned way better. We had an amazing stay here! The hotel was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful modern design. You can tell they put a lot of thought into every detail. We loved all the little extras, especially the complimentary snacks and the bath bombs. They made the stay feel so welcoming and luxurious.
