"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

Not sure what was happening during my stay but there were doors being slammed repeatedly all afternoon. "We loved this place. Michel, the host, is wonderful and is a fascinating man. The scenery from the property is grandiose, the property itself, a transformed old farmhouse transformed is amazing.
