We did like the property, it was so close to walk to downtown Charlottetown. Staff were wonderful, helpful, polite, courteous about all our concerns. would stay here again.

My only complaint would be is that I was staying on top floor of main building and could smell the kitchen odour in my room in the early morning.

The breakfast was really great with lots of options and the gluten free section was so nice to have. The beds were comfortable. We could hear the tv is the adjacent room but otherwise not too bad for sound.

Great staff and a nice suite with decent amenities and a great mattress. Place was a tad noisy with the upstairs neighbours pounding their feet but overall very happy. I'll stay again!

Very nice boutique hotel. Located perfectly downtown within walking distance to everything. Little personal touches like the afternoon warm chocolate chips cookies to the happy hour free drink with a great breakfast. We will def stay again

Eadverything fine except room temperature control. We couldn't turn off the baseboard electric heaters so the room was very hot and very dry. We had to run the heat pump on 'AC' to bring the temperature down.

Nice, convenient spot to stay in Charlottetown. We were in town for work for about 8 days. The Hotel on Pownal was reasonably priced, included breakfast in a quiet spot.

Staff was fantastic, breakfast was much better than expected. The bed mattress was in bad shape. I had to lay on a diagonal to avoid rolling to the center.

The staff is supremely friendly! Hotel rooms are classy, clean and everything in the room work. My only complaint is that when asked for a late check out time, the cleaning staff will still try to access and walk into the room between 11am &12pm. It's happened twice at this hotel.

Our room heat was turned off but our room was so hot, the air conditioner wasnt working properly and was so loud when running noone could sleep between the temperatures in the room and loudness of the air conditioner

They were very accommodating when I arrived. I brought my own food and asked for a cutting board, knife and dishes and gave them to me right away. Also, asked and offered that if I needed anything else to just call down to the front desk and they would bring it up. Then in the morning my event that I am in town for got pushed 2 hours and they gave me an extra two hours to check out. Excellent service.

This place is great!
The staff was very friendly. The hotel has been updated and looks amazing. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. I find when we book through Hotels.com we usually get a room that’s not as desirable as others. We’ve had rooms right beside or behind the elevator a few times. In this case, it was right beside the door so we could hear people coming in and out of the hotel wing all night. The doors are thin so it was easy to hear everything in the hallway. We had a “cosy” room which was pretty small, but we didn’t really care. I would definitely stay here again but request not to be right beside the door.
