A Modern Mountain Guesthouse
Our guesthouse is located in the prestigious Ivy neighborhood of Charlottesville, Virginia overlooking the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. We’re within a 15-minute drive to The University of Virginia and downtown Charlottesville and a 20-minute drive to the Nelson 151 winery, brewery, and cideries.
We're group (ideal for bachelorette parties) & family friendly and can help you arrange the perfect getaway, from helping with a wine tour to finding the right parking spot for UVA events.
Guest access
Our pool will open Memorial Day weekend. The hours are from 8:00AM-10:00PM. The guesthouse is connected to the main-house via a long hallway and garage, but is quiet and feels like a secluded mountain retreat. We give our guests the privacy they're looking for and do not use the pool area while the guesthouse is rented. No loud parties.

Great Bachelorette/Bachelor House
Could not have asked for a better place to stay for a bachelorette! The accommodations were perfect and it was a great space. The location was nice and quiet, and it was about a 15-20 min drive to most places which wasn’t too bad. We loved the set up of the rooms, the amount of space, access to the pool and hot tub and the amount of supplies that the house was already equipped with. Our host was super helpful and very communicative. All instructions were laid out clearly which made our stay extremely easy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for accommodations for a bachelor/bachelorette or birthday weekend with a group.

This is a really outstanding property. The house is a modern design from the 60's. Very classy, furnished with appropriate Danish modern from the period. Very easy to be comfortable in. The patio and pool are unbelievable. My 6 grandchildren loved every minute in the pool. The adults loved the table on the deck and the cool breezes looking at the changing colors on the blue ridge mountains. Engin was a great host. Very relaxed, and an interesting conversationalist.I hope we can prioritize going again. Charlottesville is a wonderful small city, but we spent most of our time on the patio.

Annual Girls Wine/Brewery weekend trip
This year our group decided to rent a property versus hotel rooms. This was the best decision ever made. We truly enjoyed this guest house, situated in between the wineries and breweries throughout the Charlottesville area. The house was extremely clean, welcoming, and had everything we could have needed during our stay. The host even stopped by to check in with us, with his cute daughters before they went "fishing" in the pond down the hill. Just can't say enough positive things about this property. I would suggest planning your transportation, as Uber and Lyft did kept bypassing pick up for us due to the location, however if preplanned would be fine (our lack of planning for that was our fault and just added humor to our weekend)

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful
This is an amazing property, with every detail well thought out. The backyard is heavenly, with a pool, a hot tub, and a firepit. If you stay here you will be surrounded by nature, and everywhere you look you'll have a beautiful view. Four of us stayed here for a long weekend (while attending a tennis academy just 10 minutes away at Boars Head Resort), and we couldn't have been happier. The place is well stocked, very clean, and the beds and showers were great. The owner was very friendly. Quick story - we travelled in an electric vehicle, and he has two electric vehicles himself. He saw our car, and allowed us to charge the car overnight . . . an unexpected, and very pleasant surprise! We are already talking about coming back for another tennis academy, and we definitely want to stay here again.
