Family getaway

Great property. Has many comfortable gathering zones that allow for easy conversation and meals. We loved swimming and fishing in the quiet cove on Lake Norman. Location is perfect mix of seclusion and close proximity to grocery store and restaurants.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely lake front home! The house has communal areas to enjoy with guests and also room to retire for a quiet moment. The dock with its varying levels, as well as the pool with the ideal pool house allows guests many options. The private cove location is also a positive. Location and privacy! Would definitely stay again!

Exceeded our expectations!

This immaculate home is even bigger and nicer than we expected. It was perfect for making Thanksgiving family memories. We especially enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, the hot tub at sunset, playing FIFA on the PlayStation upstairs, and completing the plant puzzle from the game cabinet. Thank you for treating us with such kindness and responsiveness. We do hope to return again!

Best Lakehouse ever!!!

We had the best time at this vacation rental. There aren’t enough words to describe how lovely this house is, the decor is gorgeous! Everything is top notch. We had absolutely everything we needed, you don’t have to bring a thing! The pool and pool house set it apart from all other lake houses. Not a steep descent to the dock and a short drive to restaurants, stores etc. are just an added plus. The owners were very timely and very sweet in answering all our questions. Highly recommend!!!

Relaxing lakefront getaway with everything you’d want

Beautiful lakefront home! Quiet relaxing Labor Day weekend. Home was well equipped and they even provided all the fixings for s’mores! Attention to detail was spot on! We loved our stay and easily could have stayed a few days longer. We also enjoyed the paddle board and kayaks provided. Kerry and Linda were very responsive to any questions and flexible with us so we could bring our dog along who learned he could swim in this trip. We all had a blast! If you have the opportunity to stay here, you should.

Wonderful family home with so many amenities! Lots of space for everyone to enjoy both inside and outside. Perfect location and so close to grocery stores, restaurants, and so much more. The pool and pool house are fantastic. Our 2 grandsons loved the Bunkhouse as well.

This is an amazing property with outstanding hosts.There is so much to do at this property and so many spaces for people to hang out without being on top of one another. The pool and pool room really make it a step above many properties on the lake. The outdoor area is truly amazing, this is truly where we spent most of the days. Thanks to Kerry and Linda for an amazing week at Living the Dream.

First rate rental home on the lake with well equiped amenities, pool, dock, water equipment and rental pontoon boat. The property was updated, very clean and welcoming. Contacts were very helpful and responsive to any questions or needs. It has multiple gathering places which makes it nice for larger family or group.

Perfect Setup

This was the best VRBO experience we have had. The location on the lake, proximity to town, privacy, and the general configuration of the house and dock were perfect. The house and backyard were also setup very well and ready to enjoy. The house was very clean and everything worked very well. Great stay.

This newly renovated and professionally decorated house was stunning. The layout was perfect to provide space for the adults and the kids. Amenities were plentiful and sometimes pleasantly unexpected. Hosts were amazing. Will be back!

One of the best rentals we have ever had . Gorgeous house, properties , amenities for everyone to enjoy , so many thoughtful touches and stocked items that made a big difference ( coffee , basic condiments, beach towels, toiletries) . The new pools. D game room were so much fun and the cove was peaceful. The kids, my parents and especially my dog had the best time ! Thanks for sharing your beautiful and convenient home with us !

Fantastic Family Lake House!

We had an outstanding vacation at the lake with our family. This lake house is absolutely FULLY stocked - they had everything except for food so you can just show up and enjoy the spectacular views. Linda and Kerry were awesome hosts and very responsive to our requests. The house has a beautiful layout that lets the family spread out into a couple of different areas so that everyone has their own space, but there is fantastic common areas as well. The location is perfect - on a relatively quiet cove for easy swimming, but also only 5 minutes from the grocery store and restaurants. We can't say enough great things about this house - it was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in!

PERFECT!

If your looking for a perfect lake home, look no further, this is it! They thought of every single detail. Every one! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, perfect neighborhood that’s close to everything, right on the lake. Perfect in every way. Our family really enjoyed our week away (3 teenagers) and this home was the perfect setting for everyone! We will be back again.

A wonderful property

Wonderful property with several sitting areas to enjoy conversation and meals. Convenient access to the lake, and plenty of shade on the dock and mature trees. The house is situated on a quiet cove with deep water for diving and swimming. My nephews enjoyed fishing every day, and the kayaks snd paddle board were in heavy rotation. The modern design touches, furniture and home decor are tasteful and smart without feeling pretentious. While the property feels secluded and remote, it is only 0.9 miles from a well stocked grocery and restaurants- so running out for that last minute dinner ingredient is a breeze. All in all, a very nice place to spend the week with family.

Wonderful Lake House

This is a beautiful property stocked with every activity and amenity. The owners were incredibly responsive to each of our requests. They stocked the home with an amazing welcome basket and could not have been better hosts. Would love to return in the summer.
