We were able to walk everywhere (breakfast, beach, dinner, etc.) which was great with two young children. It is right by the drawbridge which was a huge hit with my 3 year old. We did have two complaints - first, the floors were absolutely disgusting - sticky and dirty - shortly after arriving i looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black. We have infant who is crawling so obviously this was a huge issue. Luckily we found a Swiffer and were able to clean them but definitely disappointing given the cost of the unit and the cleaning fee we paid. Secondly, the temperature upstairs was very difficult to control. We would set the thermostat to 74 but it would get much much colder (our monitor was reading 63) up there and that is where our children stayed.
