Conveniently Located

Posted 12-Jun-2018
Stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights and all in all was happy and would stay here again Conveniently Located 5 minutes to patriots point, 20 minutes to IOP and only 10 to Market Room was nice, beds / pillows were comfortable but beds creaked every time someone moved. AC would freeze you out. Plenty of outlets, the two USB charging ports on nightstand were nice. Fridge and microwave worked fine. No tub just an odd walk in shower with zero places to put anything so all of your shampoo etc. has to sit on the floor and get kicked around. Need better knobs on the pocket door as it was hard to operate. Adequate shower pressure never ran out of hot water. Same thing for breakfast every day, sausage, biscuits, gravy, boiled eggs, toast, pastries and waffles. However attendant would not let you make your own waffle. They did have good BE pyramid tea bags. Check in / out was quick and convenient they had hot cookies one day but were always glad to give you a bottle of water. Parking was well shaded but spaces seemed limited and a little tight.

Nice and close to the beach and patriots point par

Had a great mother’s day weekend at the beach! We were able to get an affordable room at the sleep inn at the last minute. The service was friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect to get up and run the Cooper river bridge in the morning and a short drive to the beach later.

very nice for the price. needs a few minor issues fixed, wall pepper peeling a bit in bathroom etc... but nothing that would detract me from recommending it. Solid hotel, low price. Id stay again if I ever came back to the Charleston area.

close to hwy 17, lots of places to eat and shop

Here for 2 days for medical procedure. Unfortunately first night right after arrived, multiple police vehicles blocked off front entrance while arresting a driver, at least five vehicles including canine. Lots of excitement, but not the best to have on first night. Second night, wild all night party in room down hall, so no sleep for that night. Staff was really nice and free breakfast okay. I have stayed there before with no problem, but this stay not so good.

Very Accommodating

I arrived very early in town. I needed to leave luggage there before checking in for several hours. They were very understanding and accommodating. Great location close to visitor center, Patriot's Point, and bridge to Charleston.

OUTSTANDING Staff! Positive work travel property.

Pros: Friendly welcoming staff, clean/well appointed room, well lit parking lot, quiet, free breakfast, affordable.
Cons: Nothing I've noticed thus far.
Location: Close to my scheduled business meeting.
I'm a fan of good customer service, who isn't? So if being treated with respect and kindness while staying in a clean, comfortable and well appointed hotel ... then this is a place you'll find your money well spent. My conversation w/ Stephanie at the front desk started well before I arrived. Calling to ask for a quiet room, b/c I'm a light sleeper, was met with a positive response. Upon my arrival Stephanie remembered me, from my call 2.5 hours earlier, and welcomed me warmly. My room is clean, quiet and comfortable. It has a mini fridge, microwave, large shower, great desk space (I travel for work), free high speed wifi, a nice flat screen TV with good channel selections, a very comfy bed and a HVAC unit that works well. This morning's breakfast was standard fare but the kindness and welcoming energy of Tina, running the breakfast service, made it something special. The breakfast room was busy but she kept everything running smoothly while maintaining a outgoing and positive attitude. Great energy from both Tina and Stephanie, who to my surprise was back at the front desk this morning, are both fantastic and deserve kudos and recognition from Sleep Inn's corporate offices. I hope someone there takes the time to read this and recognize the outstanding staff they have welcoming their guests and building their brand. This was my first time at a Sleep Inn but, if the service and properties are like this elsewhere, it most certainly won't be my last. Five Stars. Highly Recommend
