Every detail has been fully renovated to feature antique heart pine flooring, tongue and groove walls, and European hardware dating to the original period of the home. The Space: The Charlestonian summons the essence of a truly refined Antebellum Charleston experience, through truly paired with every modern convenience. The kitchens are timeless centerpieces, featuring timeless La Cornue gas ovens and cooktops from Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, France, complemented by whisper-quiet, American-made Vent-A-Hoods. Guests are invited to celebrate Old World culinary traditions using top-of-the-line All-Clad cookware and glassware. Custom cabinetry, kitchen islands, and soaring eight-foot barn doors are handcrafted on-site from reclaimed heart pine, sourced during the home’s renovations. Entertainment is seemlessly modern with Samsung 4k Smart televisions, offering complimentary access to Xfinity cable, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. Since Cannon Street (and Spring Street) are the only legal areas in the city to host an AirBnb in Charleston, you will be in good company here. If you want the full Charleston experience, a walking tour or carriage tour is a must. If you have sea legs and are aiming for total immersion into history, the steamboat runs to Ft. Sumter daily and you can land your two feet exactly where the Civil War started.
