The house was very pretty and the bathrooms nice and updated. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was very clean. We enjoyed coffee outside in the mornings in the little garden and it was a perfect for walking down to King St and being able to get anywhere you wanted to go. The beautifully restored and furnished traditional Charleston home was spacious, modern and still had the ambience of the city's history. The home is beautifully appointed, taking into account comfort, special features and touches, and a Charleston ambiance. There were multiple spaces to sit and relax after our downtown strolls. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were excellent. Lady Banks proved to be a wonderful place to enjoy our stay in Charleston! The home is incredibly spacious and has such a warm, welcoming feel to it. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. And that master bath... wow! There is an awesome bagel shop steps from the house and a great bakery another block away. The location turned out to be very convenient... about two blocks from King Street. We could get to a long list of shops & restaurants in minutes. One word of warning, there is a fire station down the street. So you can count on hearing sirens at least once a night. We thoroughly enjoyed Charleston and all of its history and beauty. The only hitch we had was I expected address and check in sent to my email few days prior to arrival. I received email with website to click on. Once clicking, went to sign on for VRBO account which I didn’t have. Had to create, then when clicked on reservation still no instructions.
