Everything was just as described and very clean. David is gracious and helpful. Check out was easy and location was close to the beach and the Charleston. It was clean and nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The house is just as it looks in the pictures! Downtown was only a short 10 minute drive away. All of the units are beautiful, extremely well maintained and clean. This compound is perfect for large groups with tons of space inside and out. Having 3 separate units provided privacy when we wanted it, and the large yard and decks provided plenty of space or us to all spend together. The location is ideal just 10 minutes from Folly Beach or Historic Downtown. I highly recommend this property if you have the opportunity to book it. The outdoor space is almost as beautiful as the inside. Towering live oaks shade the yard and the patio deck is perfect for quiet entertaining. The cottage is a tiny home dream come true. The attention to detail takes this place above and beyond. It's obvious that a lot of care and thought went into this design. Both properties are beautiful. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and we absolutely loved the waterfall showers! We rented both of the cottages as we were there for a family event. One of our daughters and her 3 grown children stayed in one and my husband and I in the other. The setting for the two was ideal. We could walk across the yard to see each other but didn't need to accommodate different sleeping schedules. Since we have been going to the area for almost 50 years, we have family and friends there and it was a great place to entertain and visit with them. David appears to have anticipated almost every need a guest would have. Everything operated beautifully, the places were both spotless and he was a wonderful host. The location is perfect also, midway between Charleston and Folly Beach. It met all of our needs nicely. We rented out 2 of David's separate units for a bachelorette party. The spaces were incredibly well kept and full of items that were super helpful to travelers- towels, beach towels, cooking supplies, bluetooth speakers in each unit, memory foam mattress toppers for the pullout couches/ futon, some bathroom supplies, paper towels, and cups.plates, etc. It was fully stocked! David was incredibly helpful when we were there. We asked for dinner and bar recommendations and he gave us great advice. He even cooked us a low country boil for one of our dinners!
