Basic hotel with no frills. Car park right outside, the bed was clean and comfortable and we had a little bathroom. No lift. Various restaurants within the vicinity and the ibis styles has a bar if you want a drink. Right off the motorway but the double glazing was excellent. 10 minutes into angouleme by car. Cheap hotel just for a quick stop over.

Booked a pet friendly room and immediately asked how big is the dog? On arrival. If larger dogs are not allowed it should be on hotels .com front page for the hotel. We're they going to send us away at 7pm after 14 hours travel if they didn't like the dog? Also 37 degrees on arrival and no climate control in hotel, result everyone outside and in the public areas making a noise and no staff after 9pm to manage it. Baking hot and no sleep, a bit of a trial really.

Don't go there.

We arrived late, after driving hours through a massive storm around Poitier, only to be "greeted" by one of the most unpleasant characters I had dealt with in ages ! We may have woken him up but that is no excuse for his general behaviour and insulting comments towards my wife and I. Breakfast was basic to say the least. No plates, curdled milk, some bread, no forks not "eating" spoons for the cereals. At least the cafe machine worked.

1) the Asia pacific looking female receptionist wasn’t friendly to me. Probably out of jealousy that I’m far more beautiful than her. She had bad attitudes to make things difficult during check in. She purposely gave me third floor room because she knows I have 3 luggages and there is no elevator while there are lots of empty rooms on first floor. 2) this place isn’t clean. I killed 4 bugs tonight and had multiple bumps on my body. The toilets have sh!t and the shower rooms are stink and flooding also dirty. When these 2 women receptionists are here they don’t clean anything. The bathroom and shower are already collective shared. These people wish guests here don’t use anything. In fact, the toilet was so disgusting this morning, so I had to go to McDo to use toilet.

Évidemment c'est un hôtel F1 donc à petit prix, je ne m'attendais pas à un palace. La chambre est quand-même minuscule, à peine de quoi poser ses affaires par terre car la seule étagère est toute petite. J'ai opté pour une chambre avec SDB privative (minuscule elle aussi). C'est ok, nous avons survécus !

Tout est une question de personnes à la réception car en montrant ma carte d'handicapé pour pouvoir entrer 10mn avant l'heure d'ouverture, on m'a fait ressortir pour attendre dehors sous la canicule et avec pour toute réponse: si maintenant je dois faire des exceptions pour les handicapés. La carte d'handicapé est faite pour cela, Mme. Par contre le lendemain l'extrême gentillesse de la nouvelle réceptionniste a compensé le manque de civisme de sa collègue. Donc un grand merci à la seconde et tant pis pour la première.

Bon hôtel, personnel très accueillant. Salle de déjeuner, un peu petite mais conviviale, petit dej simple mais correct. Souci avec la douche dans la chambre PMR. L'eau s'écoule mal, et risque d'inonder la chambre ( mauvaise pente, pb de canalisation ??? ).

la chambre est un peu petite mais propre, un coup de peinture sur les murs blancs serait pas appréciable. Sinon, c'est un F1, donc on sait quand on réserve. Voir pour un ventilateur pour de l'air, comme on ne peut pas laisser la fenêtre ouverte la nuit.
