Kyriad Chambéry Centre - Curial

"The actual hotel was very functional. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I slept really well. Having blackout drapes and sound proofed room also helped. The kitchenette and fridge were a useful bonus. Free coffees and teas were available 24/7. The sitting area was well appointed and very relaxing. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The only negative comment was that parking in the area was extremely difficult to find! The parking area recommended was full (and 14 euros per night!). Maybe a note should be added as to alternative parking where visitors can stay overnight would have been helpful. It was a Saturday night so maybe it would not have been so bad any other time? But we almost cancelled our reservation because of this."

"Quite a unique hotel. Layout was different and somewhat difficult with the garden view room which was more a mini apartment. The bedroom was upstairs & toilet downstairs but no basin in the toilet so must go back upstairs to shower room to wash hands. Little quirky place in a great location not too far from a parking lot for your car. Staff were helpful and they have a lovely garden & restaurant & bar on site."

"I have stayed in many high end hotels throughout the world and I have to say that this experience was superb from start to finish. Staff could not have been more professional and helpful. The room was superb and the setting was also great. All rooms are individually designed and the building dates back to the 15th century, so is characterful in many regards. If you're in Chambéry and you want a really good place to stay, I would strongly recommend this hotel."
