"The only thing that met our expectations was the excellent customer service and help we got from staff especially the manager on duty. She stayed late until 0100 am to receive us and was understanding when we told her the facility didn’t meet our expectations and reached out to owner to make sure we got charged for only one night."

"Haans is a genial host who takes pride in providing a natural and healthy atmosphere in his villa. He has a very pretty chef ,Ketery, who cooked us amazing healthy meals. The houseboy, Hesborn , keeps the place tidy and does the washing and ironing to a dedicated level. The beach is close about 300 meters .I will write a further fuller rewiew when I get home. "The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly."

Could use new bedding for sure, all bedding was clean just a little thin.Furnishings was ok not the most comfortable but everything was ok. "Our stay at Katarina's house was lovely. Katarina is very good at communicating details and the house manager Hamadi was also very helpful. The house is beautifully designed and extremely unique, although it is in need of some updating such as resurfacing the pool and mending concrete cracking. We had some issues with the electricity going out but that is common in Kenya and the house manager was quick to address the issues. We hired the cook George for the week and he was great.
