Pension Kristian is a fully renovated hotel with all of the amenities (no Air conditioning) but the room fan provided was more than enough to make the room comfortable for sleeping. Communication with staff was less than ideal. No email was received about self-checkin or checkout (it’s a B&B, so they are not there all the time); they responded to a text I sent to staff about checkout by expressing that I annoyed them by my late text. Not all rooms have AC, but this was not clearly communicated at the time of booking. Host Eva very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. But beware: Cesky Krumlov is an entirely pedestrian town with very few taxis and all tourist parking outside the centre. So you will probably have to walk your bags to your room. The hotel is located within walking distance of the castle, gardens, restaurants, and shopping. The room was comfortable and the staff were helpful & friendly. Enjoyed having morning coffee on the porch!
