Lake Como is not designed to handle as many people that are there. It's packed, not peaceful and Italy has generally a very large population density so it's not a calm place. I found Italian men to be arrogant, rude and slightly racist. This property was not suitable for my needs, I paid for it and never used it and instead checked in to another hotel. The room was small, there a stale smell, the noise from the downstairs restaurant travelled upstairs and the male waiters were very rude to me... So I left, paid them and never used the accommodation. Shame because I think the 2 ladies there had a nice energy and they don't look happy stuck there with the some of the men they probably have to work with. The mountain roads are stressful to drive around with hair pin turns - however the location is excellent. All in all, I would never go back to Italy.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They made us feel right at home. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! Not to mention, the restaurant had amazing food and drink. Will definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to Lake Como!

Convenient stay on lake como
Nice location in cernobbio, convenient since we had a car and we were able to find free parking spots nearby. The hotel’s restaurant is good for dining and one can get a table with a view if lucky, but the breakfast -taking place in the same restaurant- is a bit basic. The staff was not really welcoming and our room was specifically small (we were barely able to open our carry on). I think we could have deserved to be given a larger room since we noticed the rooms next to us were free during our stay. Overall the price/value is aligned with what one can find and pay on lake como.

The property is very basic in regards to the amenities offered, the breakfast is very scarce and the overall is very outdated. The only good thing was the restaurant at night. It has nothing to do with the hotel old vibes, in the contrary the restaurant is very vibrant

The location was good, staff were friendly and helpful; but our room was very small for a family of 4 and the bunkbed was very very noisy and old. Our washroom and shower was in the hallway and that made us uncomfortable to go the washroom in the middle of nights. I didn’t see any amines.

Great hotel and restaurant
Great hotel and excellent restaurant. Quite a walk from the town centre up a steep hill. No problem for us but might be if you are disabled. The advantage to being on a hill side is that there are awesome views from the hotel. Staff are very friendly.

Great small hotel with excellent restaurant.
Good hotel situated above the town, quite an easy walk if one is reasonably fit. Don't let the one star put you off. The restaurant is superb. I would suggest booking before you arrive as it is very popular with the locals, and rightly so. We will definitely be staying there again.

Best view on the lake
We had a really nice stay, unfortunately the weather was not the best but the hotel is cozy to stay in. You can dine in the restaurant, the breakfast was good and the staff kind and attentive.

Exactly as advertised- a one star guest house. Nothing fancy. Restaurant has excellent food and service and was clearly favourite full of locals. Not many tourists in the restaurant at night. Breakfast not spectacular, but more than coffee and a cornetto. A/C in the room worked well. Local free and paid parking in the area.

Lovely place for an overnight stop on the at through Italy . Only caution, bathrooms are not en suite - they are private, for your room only but across the corridor.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und es gibt kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist man ganz schön aufgeschmissen. Mit dem Auto runter zum See ist auch keine gute Idee, es gibt keine Parkplätze, die wenigen waren alle besetzt und das Anfang Mai! Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen. Das Essen ist gut, nur komme ich mir verschaukelt vor, wenn meine Lammkoteletts hauchdünn sind und die am Nebentisch 3 mal so dick. Wir sind am nächsten Tag abgereist.

Ottimo hotel sul Lago di Como
Hotel sopra Cernobbio, facilmente raggiungibile e con parcheggio pubblico coperto proprio sotto. Stanza essenziale, ma pulita e giustamente confortevole. Buona colazione con vista molto bella e personale gentile e molto disponibile. Prezzo concorrenziale ed ottimo anche il ristorante dove abbiamo anche cenato. Sicuramente un posto in cui tornare trovandosi in zona.

Arrivati in struttura alle 22 più o meno, siamo sati accolti dal titolare con grande professionalità e allegria. Disponibile, nonostante l'orario, ci ha dato la possibilità di poter cenare. L'ottima pizza, la colazione abbondante e la professionalità del personale, abbinate ad una splendida vista sul Lago di Como, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto confortevole. Parcheggio coperto e bella struttura. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie di tutto!

Abbiamo pernottato due notti ed abbiamo apprezzato per due sere consecutive il loro ristorante. L’albergo e la sala da pranzo, allestiti in modo ineccepibile, in ogni dettaglio, per creare la giusta atmosfera natalizia. Le camere sono piccole ma essenziali: non manca niente e sono pulitissime. Beautiful location
Beautiful location with stunning views. Room is very basic, but ok. Due to a very popular restaurant below, the room is very noisy and only past midnight it becomes a bit more quiet. Stunning location and a beautiful walk to the lake, using hidden little charming staircases.
