We arrived at 3 pm, the owner was clearly bothered by our presence. He wanted to retain our Ids until the next day—a no go. The room had a temperature of 35 degrees and the a/c did not work. Our complaint was answered tha a/c only is available between 6pm and 5am. The hotel is situated in what looks like a war zone. Dilapidated buildings galore. The pictures and descriptions do not represent the reality. You would not walk outside in the dark. Walking back up would be a challenge with people with mobility issues or have physical challenges. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel if you are looking for a change, but it is a more significant hike to get into town to take advantage of restaurants and retail stores.
