Broken Spur Inn & Steakhouse

"We stayed at Broken Spur Inn and Restaurant 10/1/26-10/3/26. We were on the second floor (stairs only, no elevator...not a problem for us but for some that could be an issue) and had a balcony which was very nice...star-gazing at night and the sunrise in the morning from the balcony were wonderful! The room was clean and all that we needed for our two night stay but I'd only give it a 4 out of 5 stars because a few things are outdated and need some attention...the shower/tub is probably from the late 90's/2000's and there are folding doors that open directly into the room which is a little weird...these doors have sustained some water damage over the years and are in need of repair/replacement. The toilet is built for short people...very low to the ground. Check-in was very easy and the staff was helpful except for only having our keys setup for one night so when we returned from hiking the next day our keys didn't work and we had to go to the office to get it corrected...it wasn't terrible, just a bit of a hassle when we were tired. We needed extra towels and the staff got them for us quickly with no questions asked. It was very nice to have the restaurant on-site and the included breakfast we a bonus. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but they seemed adequate...again, maybe a little dated. Overall, I would recommend the Broken Spur Inn to others, especially if your plan is to visit Capitol Reef which is what we were doing."

"Great location, staff was great, very clean and comfortable, room location is important - try to stay away from rooms where you can hear noise from the lobby. Hotel provides morning tea and coffee, but a continental breakfast would be helpful!"

"Good standard and location. For the price (high) and comparing to other similar hotels and hotel chains, I would expect a basic breakfast to be included in the price. There was a discounted one offered by the hotel restaurant. Otherwise, no issues, I would stay there again."

"The Best Western Paradise was a nice stop in a long ride. It is older, but the bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our favorite part was the restaurant on the property. Good food, great service and dog friendly. Great choice of hearty breakfasts included with the hotel stay."
