"Short break"
Our daughter recently moved to Umina & we wanted to help with the move but not be an intrusive presence therefore we were looking for somewhere close by where we could stay. Mantra proved ideal on many fronts as we were near enough to help unpack but also had our own space & peace & quiet at the end of the day. I have to say I really appreciated the spa -bath after unpacking boxes & the sunset from the balcony was exactly what we needed after such a busy day. We would certainly stay again as the hotel is so convenient for cafes for breakfast & to access the boardwalk walking trail up to Umina beach.

"Quiet and secluded"
Booked 2 nights for my 30th wedding anniversary. Only an 90 mins from Sydney but felt we had escaped to another world. Very limited phone reception in the resort which made it all the better. With the accommodation being cabins amongst lush gardens and trees, you don't see or hear anyone else. The only time we saw other guest was in the dinning room. We had most of a meals in the dinning room and the food was fantastic and the wine list extensive. The waitress was wonderful at helping with our choices. The breakfast included is excellent. When we arrived I had inadvertently booked a disable room but the staff went out of their way to change it. The cliental appeared to be mature couples or newly weds. Only time we saw children was at Sunday lunch. The staff at the onsite Spa, were so lovely and caring and enjoyed a wonderful massage. As our car had broken down and was towed away James at the resort very kindly drove us to where the car was being repaired. Most Hotels phone you a taxi.

"Nice hotel but food at the bar isn't great"
Hotel room and facilities are great, but we went to the bar for some food a few times and it wasn't up to the standard of the hotel. It's not that hard to prepare some fresh burgers and well cooked fries, or wood fire pizzas!

"Clean resort close to the beach and shops"
The apartments were very clean and comfortable. It was quite modern and had everything we needed. There's enough parking for everyone and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located on the side of the main road and is very easy to find. It's located very close to beaches and main shops such as Terrigal shops and Erina Fair

"Wonderful, relaxing weekend."
Arriving at the resort after battling the Sydney traffic gridlock, we had a leisurely Tapas experience on site and a relaxed evening. Saturday went to the Markets and explored all the courtyards. Relaxing restful evening. After Sunday breakfast and another spin through the Markets, back to the rat race.

"Great location."
Hotel was in an excellent location and staff were very friendly. The pool, spa and sauna were great to use and came in handy after a long day out crossfit competing. The only issue was that the hair dryer didn't work. And both aircons and the tv were playing up. There was also no tissue available so we had to use a toilet roll.
