The room has not been cleaned, toilet was nasty and the bedding had large obvious stains. We changed rooms but after 3 attempts at getting the door key to work we asked for a refund. The guy at the desk was nice but every time I had to go back in he was gone.

Absolutely horrible experience! Hands down the worst hotel we have ever stayed at! Terrible customer service. Upon check-in, the employee who checked us in was very rude and acted as if we were inconveniencing him by checking in. We went to our room, and the first thing we noticed was that it was filthy. We went to the front desk, and they said they could only give us a new room, which was even worse. It was so gross. The shower was broken, the handle kept falling off, the TV did not work, holes in the was. there was hair and stains on the sheets, stained carpet and curtains, dirty walls, hair and dirt in the shower, and fecal matter on the wall behind the toilet. Under the bed was disgusting. The list goes on and on about how dirty this place was. To make matters worse, we woke up to ants in the bathroom and by the front door. The pool was also closed, which, I guess, has been that way for a while but was never advertised as being closed. We tried to cancel and not stay, but the manager was so rude and said no cancellations aloud. No refunds aloud. He did offer a 25-cent discount, which to me was a slap in the face. I will never stay here again, and I hope that no one else has to experience this nightmare. Just book somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

The hotel is fine for one night; more than that, I would stay somewhere else. The breakfast did not look great, and the coffee was bad. I was able to check in early, which was great and much appreciated. The room was okay, but I think it will need some updating over the next handful of years.

This was the worst room we have ever stayed in!!! They put us in a pet friendly room which had a strong smell of animals. The whole place was dirty!!!! The exterior door had muddy dog scratches up to the handle. We didn’t book a pet room and they didn’t mention it either. Why?? NEVER AGAIN! I also called about the pool and hot tub to make sure they were open..... guess what..... they said they were and were not. Another issue! I would love my money back for this unpleasant experience we had with this hotel chain....good luck with that.

The pool is out of service indefinitely and looks like it's been that way for a long time. Something that should be listed since that was one of our criteria in looking for a hotel. We booked 2 rooms and they were on opposite sides of the hotel and on different levels. Overall not really impressed with anything.

The fire detector was missing and broken and there was a bad smell in the room. It was difficult to sleep because of the smell. The carpet was stained and the bathroom didn’t seem very clean.

I've stayed at this property for years and in this last year it has gone bad. Rooms not cleaned well. Breakfast choices gotten worse. Overall maintenance of the facility is bad. There's new management or owners. It seems to be a family. They dont care about the guest. I had a Bagel in the toaster, it was done but I was getting my kids situated. One of the family members takes it out of the toaster with her bare hands and puts her toast in. Obviously I have to make another Bagel. Had both sides of the toaster worked wouldn't have been an issue. Used to have a juice machine and Hot Chocolate machine. They're gone. Probably quit working and didnt want to fix. I will be looking for a new Hotel to stay at when I come to Cedar City to ski.

Pool & hot tub both closed for "repairs" which was not know at check in. Tv doesnt work, no sound. Bath tub does not drain. Room selection was poor because only a few rooms where ready at 3pm - check in time. Trash bags piled up in the parking lot, from house keeping. Very disappointing will never stay here again!

The room was not well kept. Bed spread was dirty, toilet seat was very loose, hard water stains in shower, cracks in the walls. The cleaning staff did change the bedding and fixed the toilet seat. Check in was easy and all the staff was very nice and helpful. Not a bad place to stay for average accommodations.

Only after I finished the check-in process and asked for directions to the pool I was told that it was no longer in operation…even though it was advertised to have an indoor pool and spa, supported by beautiful pictures of such. The room was not cleaned property with several gummy bears on the carpet that I stepped onto. The fan in the bathroom was malfunctioning and so loud it sounded like a motorcycle in the bathroom and was not doing anything except being extremely noisy. Last but not least the evening after I checked out upon arriving home in California after an 8 hour drive I called the hotel to inform them that I left my drivers license at the front desk upon check-in the night before. I kindly asked for them to mail it to me and offered to pay for any applicable postage. The front desk lady rudely replied that she can not send it to me and I needed to come and pick it up in person. When I told her that I lived 8 hours away she simply said that she can’t help me. She claimed that she had called my cell phone and my room several times to let me know she had my drivers license - none of which is true. There is no missed call nor a voicemail on my list of recent calls, and during snow blizzard conditions my spouse and I never left the room - not even for one second. Nobody called the room. Regardless, she is refusing to mail my license and insists she cannot and so t help me. Her words verbatim…and very rudely. Now I need to wait to hopefully reach the manager tomorrow.

The beds were so soft. I loved them. Got some of the best sleep ever. The blankets were perfect. Not to hot and not to cold. Kept you at a comfortable temperature once you set the air or heater to your preference. Definitely looking forward to staying at the property again.

The TV system didn’t work and they didn’t even let us know until after we asked about it and they didn’t seem very concerned. We have stayed here numerous times, but this time seemed different. The breakfast didn’t have oatmeal or hot chocolate packets which is something that I have most mornings. Probably won’t stay here again.

When I went to my assigned room the door was wide open. I thought perhaps cleaning crew was inside but no one was there, just my room door wide open. I checked out the room and went out and closed the door to make sure I had the right room key to the right room and yes I did. When I got into the room again later I noticed that the smoke detector had a grocery bag wrapped around it. Weird right? I pushed the chair up against the door undressed in the dark and went to bed feeling like I was rather creeped out.

This property is a mess. When we checked in I was given keys to a room that was already booked. So I opened the door to people already being there! The pool and spa were not available for use. We asked them to change our sheets and they ended up using the same dirty sheets. I would not recommend staying here.

It was easy to get to, but it's definitely cheap for a reason. The bedding was stained, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, the shower looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years.

The floor in the room was very dirty. The entrance door and bathroom door would stick. The lights in the bathroom would flicker as the bulbs were about to burn out. The sink didn’t have a stopper. The light fixture by the beds was not secured properly. The beds were not made properly as the comforter only came up about three quarters of the way up.

I asked for them to help carry my dad’s air tanks and concentrator in. I got a reply back saying they would. Found out no one helped my pops so he had to carry them in by himself when he shouldn’t be doing that. The staff was hard to understand and they had a hard time understanding them.

I had a poor experience at the Quality Inn in Cedar City. The front desk staff agent was extremely rude and lazy. I asked for help with my TV so I called from my room and the staff hung up on me. Thankfully I was able to obtain a full refund through Expedia, though it was a long and difficult process (2 weeks) to obtain a refund and to find the correct phone number to customer service. I think that posting the customer service number on the Expedia website in a transparent manner would be very helpful. When you have a problem, you would like to talk to someone, not just send a message on chat. Keep in mind there are fraudsters online who impersonate themselves as Expedia agents, so be careful! I called a hotline who I thought worked for Expedia, but they hung up on me which was really odd. Eventually I did find the right phone number to Expedia and I was lucky to reach a legit Expedia agent! Good thing I saved my receipt from my booking and from the hotel, otherwise it would have been difficult to obtain a refund. I'm sure there are other great hotels out there on Expedia, but this Quality Inn in Cedar City I will not go to again because of how I was mistreated after traveling through a snowstorm in southern Utah. Next time I'll be sure to check out the hotel in person before completing a booking through Expedia. That's my advice and hopefully this helps other customers.
