Caribbean Sunrise Villa, Palmetto Beach, Caye Caulker Belize.  
  
Only 50 yds from the ocean, beach area, and large swimming dock. with a shady palapa on the roof top with a view. Although not directly beach front, this home is very close and much less expensive than the front homes.  
  
We have 2 'near identical' homes on the same property. This property has 2 levels: There is 1 King bedroom (which can be converted to 2 twins upon request) and 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 Comfy Queen Futon in the living room along with a powder room. The kitchen and living room are on the main level with a large veranda. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom and a second large veranda. The upper level leads to the roof top deck with 360 degree views of the island and a Palapa that you can sit under for hours to enjoy the partial ocean view. There are Hammocks under the Palapa as well as chairs for total relaxation.  
  
Throughout are modern island finishes, cool tiled floors, Belizean hardwood ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washing machine, Flat screen TV/DVD, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a large swimming pool with loungers. New furniture throughout.  
The home is built of thick reinforced concrete floors and walls, and to American/Canadian Standards.  
  
The island breeze coming off of the ocean is refreshing on most everyday.  
This home is located in an enclave of private homes and only about 120 yards to your beach area and swimming dock. Beach games including corn hole and Ladder Toss, paddle boarding, kayaking are all available from the private beach area around the beach thatch umbrellas.  
  
This is a quiet area, only a 5 minute bike ride to town, close to many wonderful restaurants, local groceries, and tiki cabana bars.  
Abundant palm trees and floral foliage all around.  
The beach area is one of only a few on the island. Our small private enclave decided to build a swimming dock/platform for your morning/afternoon most enjoyable dip in the sea. You can sit at the end of the dock and watch the reef break just offshore. Underwater tropical fish are a daily event at the dock. If you are traveling on your own boat, you may reserve a spot at your dock if staying in the enclave.  
The pool is 33'x15' wide with a Belizean hardwood wrap around deck. There are several chaise lounge chairs with cushions to sit by the pool and relax to recharge your batteries for your next adventure. The pool is shared with our 2 homes.  
In front of our two buildings is a tranquil palm grove with BBQ facilities including picnic tables and a giant Jenga game. Paddle boards and kayaks are available for free, Beer can be bought at the front desk by the bottle, the bucket or a whole case. You can also rent bikes and golf carts at the front desk or book tours with anyone of the many tour operators on the island for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving or sunset sailing cruises, our staff are there to help. Bikes are available to rent at US $7.50 per bike, per day. We also rent golf carts but availability is limited. We recommend you reserve with us in advance.

#### Wonderful place to stay in Caye Caulker

A great spot, beautiful upper deck, well equipped kitchen, lovely dock for lounging on and enjoyed the paddle boards…liked being a bit further away from the action further up the island but could still easily walk to the split , restaurants etc. Lovely French restaurant just around the corner too!

Couldn"t have been happier with our stay. Place was perfect. Within walking distance of everything on the island. Staff helped with pickup from the ferry dock, booking a golf cart for a day and looking after booking a snorkel tour. Highly recommend.

We would definitely stay here again! Perfect for a family of 4! Everything was clean and nice and the staff was really great answering all of our questions about navigating the island and finding what we needed. When we had issues with the company we rented our golf cart from (not related to this VRBO), the front desk staff called them and took care of everything for us. Transportation from the water taxi to VRBO was pre-arranged for us and everything went really slick! Really great service & a really great place to stay!! Thank you for making this a great trip for us!!

Really it was one of the best properties I've ever stayed at we have vacation rentals on our island where we live in Washington state on San Juan island and this just blew me away it was so awesome the staff was just amazing they were so nice and friendly and eat chicken was amazing and quick I just can't say enough about it stay here stay here stay here they have all kinds of stuff you can do all day and it's got white sand and they're so clean it's not even real

Check in was non-existent, the staff was ready for me and took me to my room with no check in process necessary. They then gave us a presentation about the property. AC works great, pool was awesome. The rooftop was a really nice way to end the nights. I would recommend this to anyone!

#### Amazing Property

We loved staying here so much! The villa was perfection with everything you need. Kitchen fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. There is a Fire TV for all your streaming needs as well as a dvd player with small selection of dvds. We also loved the swimming pool which was warm and refreshing and shaded for most of the day. The grounds were very well maintained and so pretty. The dock was great to swim and relax and we loved the yard games (corn hole, ladder ball). There is a great restaurant/bar on the property that we ate at multiple times and it was delicious. 2.50 coffee! Walk to the water taxi is about 10 mins and about 20 mins to the split but there are bike rentals on property too. Staff was so friendly and helpful! My teenagers kept thanking me for booking such a nice place to stay.

The place was beautiful and the staff very accommodating. Loved the beautiful pool, the hammocks and the use of SUP and kayaks. Caye Caulker does not really have sandy beaches but docks. Appreciated the bikes for getting around the island.

This place is just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos! Debbie was extremly helpful and very prompt on her email responses. We had a taxi waiting for us upon arriving to the island which was nice as well. Everyone was extremely accommodating and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I'm pretty sure this is the nicest area you can stay in Caye Caulker and the house is as perfect as they come... immaculately clean, spacious, stocked and air conditioning for the hot nights! We spent every morning on the 3rd floor deck in the hammocks under the palapa reading, every evening in the same place having some Belikins and every night watching the Persiad meteor shower from the dock in front of the complex. It was magnificent. I would highly recommend!

#### Amazing location and amazing management

We had a tremendous time in Caye Caulker, and the staff at Valento was incredible at making it happen. Due to a blizzard our flights were delayed by 5 days for a 7 day trip. The staff went above and beyond to make this work for us. Since our property was booked after our original checkout date, they moved things around for us and got us a place for each night so we could extend our trip. Caye Caulker is the most relaxing island getaway. None of the touristy stuff (or cars!) to distract and get in the way. You can walk everywhere, the food is amazing, the people are great, and the prices can't be beat. Perhaps our best vacation spot ever. We never repeat vacation destinations, but we are seriously considering breaking that rule!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paid a premium for a propery that claimed to be beachfront not only was there several villas between us and the "beach" there were many trees and NO beach just a pier. Will have to think very hard about staying at another VeLento property.

#### Wonderful Stay At Caribbean Sunrise Villa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been traveling to Cay Caulker since the mid 80's always staying at little hotels in town. This summer, since I had a few extra friends I gave "The Villa" a try. What a fabulous fine! Tucked away out of townyet near by, the Villa had everything we needed. The staff were all wonderful and attentive. There were such nice amenities such as a full kitchen, laundry, AC, comfy beds and couches. The Crows Nest look out was fabulous with hammocks to watch the sun set from. No need to go into town as there was a great restaurant steps away and a beautiful dock. The pool was perfect. When we left our ear puds behind, we got a message and offer to send the items back to the USA.....This rarely happens at a hotel. I highly recommend a relaxing and cosy stay at the Caribbean Sunrise Villa!

#### There is better on the island! Go to Colindas instead!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is nice and the dock they have is great but the home itself is lacking many details that make for a comfortable stay. Top of the list is actual running water. Yes, I know it is an island (this is my 8th time on the island) and yes, the island does periodically shut off water for conservation, but our unit had hardly any water in it the first three days of our stay. I’d also like to note that while management tried dismissing it as the island shutting off water, we had no water even during the times water was allowed. Through my constant inquiries at the front, I gathered the property management itself has an issue with keeping well maintained pumps or simply just didn’t want to turn water on.Funny enough, when more people arrived and I threatened to contact my CC company, there was no issue with water! We went days without showers or being able to flush our toilets and kept being told it is normal. It’s not and our friends who stayed elsewhere on the island at the SAME TIME had no issues with their water.Aside from that, the rooftop deck no longer has the view that is shown in the photos, the light is motion sensor and turns off every 30 seconds so you cannot sit up there after the sun sets, bedrooms lack bedside lamps, and the stairs are not suitable for anyone that may have vertigo or small children. Highly recommend staying somewhere else.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Villa. The property is super well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer was a real plus. The air conditioning worked well and cooled down the interior fast when we turned it on at night. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip and quiet since you are just sharing it with the adjacent house. We loved the private rooftop palapa for hanging out mornings and evenings. There is really no water view, but the sunrise and sunset skies are beautiful through the lush palm foliage. This property is out of the main center of town so we rented bikes for the whole week. You definitely could walk, but the bikes made it much more convenient. Plus they have baskets for groceries, towels, etc. It was nice to stay out of the noise of the main town but still just be a few minutes bike ride away from everything. The enclave’s private dock was also a fun place to hang out. All in all, we loved the property and how friendly and helpful all the staff members were (especially Victoria and Beyoncé). We will definitely stay here when we visit again someday!!
