Beautiful location and home
We had a great time at the paddle inn. The house is adorable and very comfortable. We were a bit surprised to find that there was no stove, but there are plenty of good places in Fredonia to dine. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend and would stay here again!

Heaven on earth is on Heron Island
The photos of this property don't even do the majesty of it justice. This has hands down been the best Air BnB experience of my life. The location, the view, the amenities, attention to detail and cleanliness were beyond my expectations. What blew us away most of all was the graciousness and attentiveness of Rodney and Lisa who have poured their heart and soul into this property. They went above and beyond to create an unforgettable, unmatchable vacation experience. Once you cross over the bridge and onto the island, be prepared to be immersed in the magic that is Paddle Inn on Heron Island.

Stunning, peaceful, remarkable and very reasonable
I received this stay as a 50th bday gift from my husband. I have family on the other side of the lake- they are in their 60s. We were here for friendship, fun, and some peace from everything going on in the world. Everything we wanted was achieved and still ongoing :). I love that this is so much more then an island stay with generic lodging. Everything was thoughtfully planned and set up for convenience, as well as, safety. From the safety Station as we enter (wipes, sanitizer,and room for additional supplies) to the sign on the loft indicating low ceilings (my son is 6’4 so we know the pains), to just all the happy, personal decorations and touches. I don’t want to ruin any surprises but this place is COOL! They have bikes, canoe, kayaks, grill, fire pit, benches- with cup holders by the lake and excellent instructions for everything and of course, more fun and beautiful touches all throughout the property. Also it’s a little over an hour to Niagara and so many other wonderful attractions.. I’m going to skydive on one of these trips.... they torture you by flying around Niagara first... I jumped once before and think I’d prefer the tour after the jump lol. Anyway, my plan is to rent bi annually as this stay was amazing! and I believe a summer stay is necessary (we already booked :) and then in the fall when the colors are even more brilliant than right now. Finally, I am blessed and have traveled a great deal. I had to go to San Diego about 5 times per year for many years and I often rented VRBOS as my son would be with me and they are more personal. This is truly at the top of my favorite Stays...When I go to hotels and VRBOS I NEVER forget cleaning supplies, Alexa, a popcorn maker and extra paper towels and a candle. I didn’t need the cleaning supplies here ... and I’m picky - hotels are usually more odorous then vrbo so the candle was NOT needed but who doesn’t love a candle? Anyway, Alexa was perfect (she’s singing to me now as the sun shines upon me)... I am sure everyone would fall in love with this place if they got the opportunity to stay! I’m enamored and looking at land on the lake :)

Another wonderful stay
My second visit to the Paddle Inn was as amazing as my first. The owners have made sure everything is safe during the COVID era by providing disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and a socially distance check-in. The Paddle Inn is a little oasis and I can’t wait to go back!

Fall getaway
The area is Beautiful and the Island getaway is just that. Very relaxing and so enjoyable. The Paddle Inn is easily one of my favorites as I have visited 3 times this year.

Our stay at paddle inn
We had a great week at the island and everything was immaculately clean and organized. The fire pit was great for having a little fire at night and they had everything you needed to enjoy the lake and area from kayaks, bikes and even a fishing rod. Everything was so close to get to and you can even walk to the store if needed. I loved the interior lights and the lights on the bridge they gave a nice look at night. I would recommend this lake house and hope to come back.

Paddle Inn
Love just coming here to get away every few months. It also helps that the owners are always ready to assist, the Inn is always clean and fresh. Just pack your clothes and a few personal items and you are all set. Don’t forget those fishing poles and a good book.

A Perfect Getaway
I cannot say enough about how wonderful The Paddle Inn and owners were over a long, solo getaway weekend to relax and take a break from "the real world" . From the outdoor lighting that was burning bright for my evening arrival, to the tour from the owner who's clearly put the family's heart and soul into every detail, to the beautiful cabin and breath taking scenery, The Paddle Inn has it all! The kitchen has everything you could need, the living room is cozy, the bedroom is comfy, and you can see water from every window. It was a bit too cold to spend much time outdoors, but the house was nice and warm, and you don't really need to leave if you don't want to! I explored the area and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer to kayak, sit on the beautiful porch to take in the lake's beauty, fish, and have bonfires. It's the perfect place, owned by responsive and helpful owners, and I can't wait to visit The Paddle Inn again and again!

Enjoyed our stay!
Spent a couple days here with the wife and two kids to get some fishing in with my boys. The property is exactly as pictured, and met or exceeded all expectations. The owners were very friendly, and communicated all necessary info about the property prior to arrival. The owners clearly take pride in their property, and did an exceptional job remodeling the home and decorating it. My two boys absolutely loved the loft, and the second bed that slides out. Beds were clean, and very comfortable. Tons of windows to open to get a nice breeze off the lake. Mood lighting around the inside of the house gave the inside a nice glow after dark while watching a movie on netflix with the family. 2 kayaks and a canoe with a nice size dock available to use. Fishing was great, caught a ton of perch, sunfish, bluegill, and largemouth bass. Most were small, but kids had a blast. If you own a Boat, there’s a public launch close by. Some road construction in the area was a minor inconvenience, but looks like they are close to completing the project. All in all, great place, great owners, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your place with us, we loved it!

Wonderful place!
Photos don't do justice to how cool this place truly is. Spending our first anniversary here was so special and relaxing. The weather was rainy and chilly so we spent more time indoors than outdoors, but the inside of the Paddle Inn was so cozy that we were happy as could be. We plan to return when the weather is warmer because we enjoyed our stay so much. The Paddle Inn is really special and just wonderful.

Beautiful and comfortable island property!
We really enjoyed this special little getaway. Gorgeous remodel with thought into every detail. Great communication with owners! Highly recommend this property and all it has to offer!
