It was not good, not bad, or not ok
You can't expect too much from a small-town motel, but the room was extremely outdated. Everything looks like it came out of the 1980s detective show, however; the beds were comfortable.

Absolutely filthy ice machine broke pop machine broke chairs in room looked like somebody was killed in it. Stay away. I stay in 30 to 50 hotel nights a year by far the worst value for my money ever.

Outside was fine. Advertised ice machine, breakfast- coffee and muffins! None was provided the whole time I was there! Ice machine out of order the whole time! No one at front desk! You had to ring on phone if you needed something! Cobwebs on the window and floors were nasty dirty!

We were happy to be able to check in early. It is expensive .The ice machine was broken. The "buffet closed at 9:00 on Sunday morning; it had only some rolls and coffee. Pillows are hard. The only plus is that it is the only motel in Cass City. The TV choices were good.. We will not return next year.

Only as a very last resort
Everything was old and dated, the carpets and chairs badly stained making them look very dirty. The refrigerator in the room had the freezer compartment almost totally filled with frost, rendering it useless. The drink machine was out of order for many selections and the ice machine was broken. The couple running (owners?) the place were pleasant, and I suppose doing their best but...we stayed as it was the only place available and reviews didn't look bad.

The vending machine was broken and I was told that
The managers Scott and Trisha were absolutely amazing. But the hot tub didn’t work and I still had to pay for it which was $100 more than a normal room almost. I spoke to the owner Roger and he was not helpful at all his phone number is 989-670-7505 if anyone else has an issue! I should have gotten use out of what I paid for!! The vending machine was broken and I was told that has been broken for 69 months the icemaker was broken that I was told has been broken for over a year. The owner is not keeping up with this hotel and I definitely recommend you staying elsewhere.

Quick stay, place to rest your head
Fun quick stay. Our room was not remodeled yet but our friends was and it was really nice. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nothing much at all. Coffee was hot and delicious if you only like sugar and powder creamer, no flavored stuff. Overall, it was a great stay for 100 bucks

Rooms were big with recliners which was nice. However sink in one of the 2 rooms did not work and the hair dryer in the other room only worked for a few minutes. Also icemaker in lobb did not work and looked like it hadn't for a long time.

Clean and with friendly staff, but the amenities where very lacking. The rooms were old, the beds slightly uncomfortable, and the breakfast on offer was laughable. None of which would have been all that bad but at the price they charged, I was honestly expecting better.

Pretty much as expected but expectations weren't that high to begin with. Facilities are outdated, but not horrible. Pillows were small and worthless. Overall, it gets the job done. Only real complaint is that it is overpriced for what you get. But when you're the only option in town and the surrounding area, I guess you get to set whatever price you like.

While this motel was the only one near our destination, it met all our expectations for comfort, cleanliness, courtesy, and breakfast food. We enjoyed staying at this motel and highly recommended it for the cost was reasonable.

Old old old... it had a "key". not a key card, but a "key"... that if you turned the wrong way in the front door would get stuck and couldn't be removed...doors are paper thin. such that when our neighbor slammed the door we jumped out of bed thinking they were in our room.

It was a nice place to stay just to get off the road for the night. Nothing special. I was very upset because it offers the pay here option but he ran my credit card and it had to beer refunded which is still not on my card.

t's the only hotel in Cass City, MI
This is the only hotel option in Cass City, so take that into consideration. The hotel is very outdated, but it was clean for the most part. The front desk clerk was pleasant and attentive. Since we are still in the midst of the pandemic, there was no breakfast or coffee in the morning.
