We didn't notice the window last night because we checked in around 11:00 p.m. and the curtains were closed. The bathtub was dirty as well. I have asked for a refund. In the approximate 100 hotel stays booked through Expedia this is my first complaint. Maybe we were assigned a room that wasn't supposed to be rented last night. The walls were filthy. Blood stain and dirt on one bed sheet and both bed skirts. Dead cockroach on the floor. We took photos and brought the desk clerk in who was very apologetic and admitted the bedding was clearly not changed. Our check in was without issue and the gentleman who welcomed us was very kind. Sadly during our one night stay we were unable to access the internet, despite directions and numerous attempts. The AC worked just fine as did the shower and frig. The springs on the bed sound bad but the bed was comfortable. Greater concerns include gnats in the room and general disrepair of the room. While the property is conveniently located next to the highway the noise level at times was excessive. Krisan, the manager was always ready to help with directions, the history of the motel, or allowing me a late check out. Motel is right out of the 1950's with full kitchen and lots of room. Pros for my one night stay this past weekend were, the room was very accommodating, close parking, friendly staff, prompt service, clean spacious room, large bathroom with tall 2 person shower stall, very cold AC unit in room, large flat screen cable TV, 1 reg. refrigerator in kitchenette, 1 med. Mini fridge in dining area, awesome prices! Cons are that the kitchenette does not have shades or curtains up, therefore, others can see right in come evening time. Other than that, I had a great experience here. Would definitely be back. The people who run this place, and presumably own it, are very very nice. Personal interactions are very friendly. The motel is very conveniently located. And it is a motel, so you can park right by the door. All of that is good.But…The property is old and rundown. Linens may be clean, but they are very dingy. Pool is out of commission with dirty water at the bottom. I requested daily housekeeping, but did not receive it.
