Otherwise location is perfect for hiking, and the city center is just 10 min walk with many restaurants. Highly recommended."

"What an amazing villa, we visited for a family 50th Birthday celabration with a mix of children and young and older adults. The villa has everything you need. Air con in all the main villa bedrooms, and a great mix of sun and shade seating areas outside were a lovely balance. Rens comunication was exceptional. A great break and would love to come back again in the future."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent and served in a large room. Our room was clean, balcony nice size. Outdoor Pool (not heated) was nice with ample loungers. Most staff attentive and helpful. We would like to single out two staff members (Gisela and Romulo) who provided outstanding service. Thank you. "

"Rocha Brava is a great location with many activities i cluding pickleball which we loved. Our apt was basic and a bit tired but had what we needed. It appeared several places were getting an update while we were there. Ours needs one. In soite of this would definitely return. "

"The resort has an amazing look, particularly the outdoor areas, but the lack of maintenance is concerning. Staff were really friendly and always at hand. The outdoor pool was clean and the water was kept in proper condition, but the bridges were closed as they are falling apart. The room looked amazing, but again lack of maintenance was a negative factor. One toilet leaking water, one bathroom smelling like sewer and the bedroom walls hid a lot of damage behind the wallpaper. This could be seen in other areas of the hotel - Turkish bath out of order, hydrotub broken. Sauna, indoor pool and gym were all fine. "

"We absolutely loved it here. The views are breathtaking. When we checked in we were greeted so kindly. She helped us book breakfast for the morning, made us supper reservations, and even booked a boat tour for the next day to see the caves. It made this trip so much easier with all of the help and it was greatly appreciated. We loved our breakfast each morning. Such a nice option to eat on our own private balcony in the sunshine. The room was great, bed was comfortable and the entire hotel was clean and well kept. We will definitely stay here again when back in Portugal. "
