« My family and I drove 3 1/2 hours to these cabins. Once we got there the key code did not work. When I spoke with the lady whom resides in another state, she said they tried to get my phone number from Expedia but could not, (she had my number because I text her the day before) to tell me that they had no one there to clean the cabin and that they did not have another cabin available. « I loved that these were updated cabins and the air conditioning was amazing. They were fairly clean but there was a dead cockroach on the floor and a lot of roach poison traps in the kitchen- however never did find a live one.
The down side is on the way up the hill to this cabin the road isn’t safe for low cars and there’s a place you will skid the bottom of your car if you don’t just drive in a neighboring yard. Also, these are not even close to feeling private. Gave more of a RV park vibe....

« My stay was fantastic, but Expedia refuses to display the correct pictures for the cabin. After speaking with the owner, it seems this happens continuously. Don’t count on Expedia when you book it’s better to book directly through Turner Falls. The owner was more than accommodating to fix the issue! « This was a cozy cabin that was perfect for two. The bed was a little creaky, but not to the point where it woke us up. There are split units in the bedroom and living room for air conditioning, which is important almost year-round in Texas, and they did the job well. « It was nice. Much smaller than I anticipated. However, was clean and did the job. The bed downstairs was very uncomfortable to us. After a day of hiking turner falls a good nights rest was needed. The bed was something left to be desired. Overall, it’s a good stay. »
