Easy parking is available as viewed from the master bedroom. The villa covers 2 floors with the lower level consisting of the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second twin bedroom with accompanying family shower room. Entering the property takes you to the tastefully decorated lounge dining room area with the adjacent kitchen equipped with all necessary to conjure up the meal of your choice. The terrace off the lounge allows access to the wonderful Spanish sunshine with an additional solarium giving a further opportunity to relax and take in the sumptuous views. The Region of Murcia region The La Manga Club resort is located on the portion of the south eastern coast-line named the Costa Calida (the warm coast). This is an area which provides both spectacular coastal views with the contrary perspective of the surrounding hills. The general climate of the Murcia region is predominantly in the 'sunshine' section of the barometer making La Manga Club ideal for both summer and winter breaks. The nearest large town, Cartagena, is an easy 20 minutes´ drive from the resort. The regional city of Murcia only a further 20 minutes along the motorway makes a visit to the waterpark and zoo an easy proposition, with great shopping opportunities also on offer. Festivals are widespread in Spain and true to form the Murcia region has some wonderful celebrations. In particular the Easter festivities with their colourful parades and the September re-incarnation of a Roman village in Cartagena commemorating the historical conflict between the Carthagenians and Romans, are ones not to be missed. Away from the bustling cities the local area boasts access to both the wide expanse of the Mediterranean and the calmer, enclosed waters of the Mar Menor. The Mar de Cristal beach in particular is very welcoming for families as the water is generally very tranquil and warm, shallow enough for children of all ages, only 10 minutes drive from the resort. The village of Cabo de Palos, one of a few within easy reach offers a variety of small restaurants, bars and cafes as well as a picturesque harbour and lighthouse. The village is also home to a very popular Sunday market. Close by we have the Calblanque beach which is an area of conservation and as such remains in its original, untouched form making it an ideal picnic spot. La Manga Club is, without question, one of the world’s leading Sport and Leisure resorts. It is located within 1400 acres tucked into the Murcian hillside overlooking the clear waters of the Mar Menor. The Resort contains three championship golf courses, 28 tennis courts and 7 padel courts. In addition there are top quality football facilities which are used all the year round by a selection of the top professional teams from Europe and in fact all of the sporting facilities regularly host local and international events. The recently fully renovated Racquets Club (formerly the Tennis Centre)offer first class tuition all year round and there are additional academies operating for children and young adults during the school holidays. These disciplines include tennis, football, cricket and dance. Within the Resort there is a huge variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and boutiques and has its own supermarkets, banks, chemist and Doctors surgery. It was hot and sunny during our June visit so the shady north facing terrace was very welcome but in the winter the solarium would be the only place with any sun. In the early mornings when it wasn’t as hot we enjoyed sitting on the sofas in the living area and the view from there. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. Jan and Colin were excellent 'hosts' and at hand for help and answers to questions if required. We were in La Manga Club looking to buy a property - which we have - otherwise we would rent this one again if coming to stay. ##### Christine W. Ideal for all ages and plenty to do on the complex if you choose. Lots of lovely restaurants to eat out, although the villa was well equipped if you chose to stay in and eat with the local supermarket having plenty of choice. Love this place.
