If I could give less than one star, I would. First, the bed had bedbugs. We noticed it on our last day unfortunately but we were questioning a lot why do our backs ick a lot and we found the reason. That made us so uncomfortable. The AC barely worked, it was turning off every two hours I calculate and as you may know, Cartagena is a hot city so having no AC in the middle of the night is not nice. The breakfast buffet, what a scam. You only have 6 buffets options (which is not bad) but what I pretty disliked was that you have limited amount of food you have to take. It’s understandable in some cases, but in most of the hotels I’ve stayed, I can freely take the food and portions I want, but here, I was limited to only ONE “mini-empanada” or pancake bite. How come? The worst part is that the staff was rude about it and definitely not something you’d appreciate. Talking about Staff, the only people who were actually nice to us were the doorman & two guys from the restaurant. As well, they leave you a bottle of wine with two cups and a ribbon at your room when you first check-in. If you do not see a label, a tag or a menu next to it, you might think that it is a gift but again, they proved me wrong . I do get that in most hotels they leave beverages and drinks but with an added cost, however, in this scenario there was no indicative that it had an extra cost. Overall, I wish I could have stayed somewhere else while in Cartagena but you gotta work it out :)
