I can't write enough good things about this hotel. We arrived mid afternoon to a Piper playing, we relaxed in very comfy chairs in front of the fireplace while waiting for our dinner (I feel asleep actually) . Then we were treated to a sumptuous meal. Afterwards we had a few beers while chatting with the friendly staff.. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel seemed newly renovated and was clean and comfy. Room had some extra amenities than most hotels, which we loved. Friendly locals and good food!

Delightful small hotel with good food and helpful staff. The only thing I didn't like was that smoking is still allowed in the UK on outdoor bar patios.
