The condo was modern, clean and super comfortable for a family of five with teenage/adult kids. The condo was well stocked with everything you could think of: bed and bath linens, beach towels, paper goods, glassware, plates, pots and pans, and beach equipment, etc. We appreciated this since we were visiting from the East Coast! I also have to note that the beds were firm and very comfortable. We had the beautiful Pacific Ocean as our back drop and loved listening to the waves and watching the surfers off the balcony. The location couldn't have been better. Just steps to the beach allowed for everyone to come and go as they please. And we could easily walk to all the restaurants and stores in town. Carlsbad itself is a charming "village by the sea" with so many great places to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was very lively and friendly as well. We will definitely consider staying in Carlsbad and this condo again if we return to the area. The nightly rate was on the high side but it's a premium location.
