"Nice, quiet spot to come back to while exploring Carlsbad Caverns. It was great to be able to do our laundry right at the house while relaxing. House is small, but didn't feel it, and had everything we needed. Also, in a nice quiet neighborhood, with a pretty church opposite. Donny, the host, checked in via text frequently to make sure everything was going well. Thank you."

"We set out on a road trip with my elderly in-laws, and Carlsbad was our second stop on our adventure. The home was great in accommodating both of them. (Mother-in-law scoots her feet real bad when in house shoes, so the tile floor was a bonus.) The shower in the master was also very user friendly for them."

"Older home in a somewhat rundown neighborhood. Overall, clean with pretty good beds, linens and towels. Kitchen equipment and kitchen cleanliness need some work. About 35 minutes from Carlsbad NP. If you just need a place to sleep while you exploring, it's ok. You won't want to just hang around."

"The location of the house is perfect for walking to the water park, splash pad, play ground and swimming beach on the river. The house itself is in disrepair. The owner appears to be in the process of remodeling but if you are squeamish about poor bathrooms, open electrical outlets, or walls/floors that are not finishes then this is not the rental for you until their repairs are finished.
