"We stayed in Oak Cottage for the weekend to celebrate a family birthday. Our group consisted of 6 adults, 3 children and an infant and the property was perfect for our set-up. Communication with Ginnie beforehand was fantastic, always quick to reply to my queries! "We couldn't lock the front door all week! The key would not turn. We tried to contact the host but never heard from them. This made the holiday very stressful. The tv did it work either which was annoying. The water pressure in the ensuite shower was really poor making it unusable. The cottage could be so lovely but it feels uncared for and the owner is impossible to contact."

"Kitchen was stocked with bread, butter, milk and jam, which was lovely but there was NO tea or coffee. However, given how dirty some of the mugs were, that probably wasn't a bad thing. There were also dirty trays left in the oven and drawer. Rest of cottage was clean thankfully. However, frustrating as limited power points, and no shaver socket in bathroom for toothbrush.
