"The staff is amazing. I wish i remembered the girls name at the front desk to shout her out. She was very helpful and friendly. Room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable. I didn't see what was offered for breakfast but it looks like it's enough to hold you over for a little while. There is also 24 hour coffee, next-door, and across the street is a gas station with a little store and there are some restaurants around.I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Anthracite while in town for a wedding. From check in to check out all was smooth. The accommodations were well maintained and the location was convenient to both our Honesdale wedding and meeting up with family in Hawley. The breakfast was well executed with plenty of options. Coffee was served fresh by a waitstaff. If ever we're passing through, we'll be back."

"The only thing I like was the staff everyone was nice. The game room was beautiful but our hotel room the shower was disgusting and the hot tub had black stuff flying out of there. I will not ever go back there because the shower is important and the shower was so dirty. It’s looking very rundown. They need to clean the hot tub really bad."
