Captain Cook State Recreation Area Tours and Activities

We took the Alaskan Railroad from Anchorage to Seward. The hotel provided a free shuttle from the train depot to the hotel and as an added surprise they handled all our luggage from the depot and delivered it straight to our room. When leaving for our cruise they delivered our luggage straight to the cruise line. In summary from the time we dropped off our luggage at the depot in anchorage to the time we stepped into our stateroom on the ship we didn’t have to handle our luggage at all. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The room is musty and the bed and pillows have sweaty odors, very obvious. They need to be immediately replaced. Barren surroundings. Terrible place with ridiculaously high prices.
