If you’re looking to stay in the centre of Cape Town, at a 5 star hotel with amazing spa technicians, look no further. The staff were so friendly and courteous, the rooms were wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Green market is a stroll away, the Water Shed and Water Front are just a short Uber Drive away (Willoughby & Co sushi is a must!) We had views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head - the views were spectacular. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property with luxury at its best. MAJESTIC table mountain view from the 15th floor balcony was one of the best experiences. Breakfast buffet was extravagant with various indian cuisine options.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was when we wanted to charge to our room. We didn’t understand that we could only charge if we had sufficient funds prepaid. We were told that anything over that limit wouldn’t automatically be charged to our credit. The amount that was initially deposited wasn’t very much. It should have been explained better. We met another couple who had the same issue.

I have been a Taj Loyalist ever since a kid. This property while beautiful needs to fix the condition of its equipment. The hair dryer, attached to the drawer was very Inconvenient to use and broken as well. Housekeeping couldn’t provide me with a different one. The shower was leaking as well. While the Bombay Brassiere served good food, service was too slow. A solo diner , it took me 2.5 hrs for a meal, did t help that initdered vegetarian and they kept sending non- veg dishes out to my table. The breakfast the next day was worse, not a single server cane to ask me for my beverage order the entire time i was there, forget about asking the special of the day and getting it frsh made from the kitchen. I grabbed a croissant and OJ and it wa sin and out. Not looking for a repeat stay here. Plenty of newer hotels that have way better service.

We had a very special time with the Taj. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the mountain. What was a real standout for us was dining at the Bombay Brasserie. A real treat.

Inconsistent service. Seating in the dining room in some places too low with respect to tables. Early evening disco music in bar not appropriate to this standard of hotel. Allowing guests into breakfast restaurant in nightwear not considered in line with the standards expected in this hotel. Concierge Dale deserves particular note for his extremely good service and assistance.

Generally Very good stay with comfortable rooms and facilities and polite staff . .Breakfast was excellent offering Indian and western cuisines. Check in was slow as rooms were not ready at the said time . Taj missed a trick , as a gesture they could have offered a free complimentary drink/ snacks to show good customer service but didn’t.

This is a beautiful hotel in a convenient location to many tourist attractions. The doorman ensured that the guests felt safe and well taken care of, in regards to, traveling to and from the hotel. The restaurant staff were amazing with warm personalities. I highly recommend this property.

We stopped at this hotel as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is lovely, the staff very helpful and the food is delicious especially the Bombay Brasserie. When we arrived our room had been upgraded with gorgeous views of Table Mountain. As it was our honeymoon the room had also been decorated with petals and some drink and sweet treats. We didn’t get a chance to walk out as we had booked activities with tour companies. But we would definitely stop at this hotel again.
