However there are a few things that need to be better maintained: 1) the hot water reduced water in sink and shower to a dribble (so be prepared for cold showers); 2) the kettle needs to be replaced (switches on/of without boiling); 3) a broken window had been ‘fixed’ with cardboard and duck tape (which came loose in the wind during our stay). Also, I’d seen the feedback on check-in so was sure to confirm my arrival time several days ahead. For the same sort of price as a hotel room with a rollaway bed - our family of two adults and one child were very comfortable here with the added advantages of two private bedrooms and a kitchenette. Obviously this is not a hotel so I needed to make a plan to get the keys - but this worked well even with me arriving a bit earlier than expected. Unfortunately the gate remote did not work so we ended up parking on the street. I am sure this would have been rectified by the letting service if we had called them - but we ran out of time.
