Relaxed and cosy
A beautiful, quiet place that is easy accesible to all beaches. We reallly enjoyed our stay. The house is a very clean place with everything that you need, cosy warm and comfortable.

Lovely weekend

The Beach Shack at CP
Rosemary Hooper is a great hostess. The linen was impeccable, the house really clean and inviting, and it was great that there was milk, tea, coffee and icy cold water in the fridge upon our arrival. The heating is great, although we didn't use it apart from one evening. The yard is very dafe for a disciplined dog. We had the best time here!!

Great Beach House
The house was beautifully presented with lovely homely touches and an easy walk down to the great beaches and rock pools. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We even had an echidna visit which was lovely ! Thanks Rosemary .

Cape Paterson Paradise
Again, such a lovely, calming and relaxing break from hectic city life. A gorgeous cottage that is perfect for everything, even with a rainy day. And our little dog loved it too! Thanks Rosemary. See you next time!

Wonderful place to stay at the Cape
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Rosemary’s place and were very impressed with the cleanliness and how well provisioned the house was. It had everything we needed and more. The photos don’t do it justice as we found the house very ‘homely’ and well styled. Communication with Rosemary was excellent and she responded quickly to all our enquires and requests. We would definitely stay again next time we’re down at Cape Patterson.

Weekend gate away with family

Great getaway
Spacious for myself, three teenagers and a dog. Had everything we needed. Lovely walk to cafes and beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kids want to return next year.

Great little shack
Simple little beach shack, relaxing and clean. Good location, little more than 5 min walk to beach with kids in tow more like 10-15mins haha but you can hear waves from the house on the little deck at night For those with dogs, fence is not entirely dog proof and neighbours, not sure if were renters or owners had dogs, the wire fence between them wasn’t really enough, we ended up buying some shade cloth and stakes for a makeshift fence to cover wire so dogs couldn’t put heads through and all was ok. Beautiful place and Rosemary wonderful to deal with, Thankyou for our first family holiday, with a newborn!!

Annual Summer beach trip
This was our second summer stay here and we enjoyed it once again. It's a simple home but it's clean and tidy and all we needed in a beach house. Spent most our time out under the trees if we weren't at the beach. We'll be back!

Absolutely loved it here. The house was fantastic. We couldn't get the wifi to work unfortunately but with the beach so close we didn't need it. House was clean and tidy and perfect enough space for a family of adults.

Peaceful retreat
This suited us and our dog-child really well. 10 Minutes to the beach, good facilities and the bonus Chromecast allowed us to stream our normal services from our phone. Looking forward to another visit at some point.

Amazing stay
We had a lovely stay. The house had everything we needed and we found it very clean. Our hosts were easy to communicate with. Bonus was pet friendly with a very secure yard. Locality wise it was very close to beach and all sight seeing. A great stay. Thank you 😊

Amazing Stay!
We had a fantastic holiday stay at Rosemary’s place! The location is perfect, just a short drive to the beach with rock pool. The place is impeccably clean, and the communication with the owner was superb. Best of all we were able to bring along our furbaby coz the place is pet friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Hi Debbie. Sorry to hear your stay was boring. The wifi is on and connected. When I did the clean, the modem was on and working. There are books, magazines and card games available at the house. Pamphlets showing a variety of activities such as visits, walks etc are also there on the bench. The weather plays a part in a holiday. Bit too cold for going out etc. Regards Rosemary.

The property was very peaceful and clean and comfortable bed . Fencing could be looked at not really suitable for a little dog . But overall it was a pleasure to stay ,and the dogs love it to .Thanks for having us .

The property was comfortable and dog friendly. Our only gripe was that we didn’t realise the beaches weren’t dog friendly and the only leash free Beach was tiny and unsuitable for much walking or swimming and we couldn’t walk to it from the accomodation. I think if people are bringing dogs it would be good to warn them of this situation.

Family time
Good quiet location. Cosy house with almost all one needs but if you love to bbq you need to bring your own as the property doesn’t have one. Luckily we could borrow one from friends. If you like a walk and don’t mind being a little away from the beach, ideal possy. But if you have chairs (need to have own) beach shade etc you’ll need to take the car. All in all we had a lovely stay and will be back soon.

Everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach.
We had a wonderful stay in Cape Paterson. If we weren’t at the beach or out exploring then we were sitting out under the tree at the front of the house with drink and book in hand. It is a simple little house but has everything we needed and close to the beach, pub and cafe. Perfect for our 2 dogs and 2 kids. We’ve already rebooked for next year. Can’t wait.

Great getaway from the city buzz
Lovely little place with a very homey feel. Space for the little ones and fur babies to safely play outside. Quiet area with loads of natural bird noises. Close to the swim beach and rock pool.

Quiet, private and relaxing
Plenty of shrubs, trees around the perimeter provided a real sense of privacy in this quiet neighbourhood. Only a short distance to wonderful surf beach with crashing waves and 10 minute drive to Wonthaggi. Cape Tavern served great meals. Property was a bit dated but everything we needed was there. Allowed us to have the refreshing time we were looking for.
