Not happy. Leaky roof forced us to change rooms. New room was on ground floor had no ocean view. I paid for ocean view and got it only for one night. No manager reached out to us after the debacle although the desk clerk said,” management will contact you for compensation “

We had a great stay at a great rate. Rooms are small but nice updated bathroom. Nice shared amenities with Congress Hall right across the street. Beach and shopping booth only a block away!

January getaway!
We’ve stayed at The Star a few times, and love going in January! The island is quiet but there’s still so much to do. The neighboring coffee shop was closed for renovations so we tried the Star Cafe and it was great! Everything from check-in to our morning coffee was easy and enjoyable.

A lovely charming place to stay
What a joy to stay at The Star inn owned by Congress Hall. Everything you could ask for in a place to stay! Hospitality is outstanding. All of the staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms and lobby are immaculate!!! A treat for sure!!
