SPACIOUS, BEAUTIFULLY RENOVATED CANAL HOME JUST MINUTES AWAY FROM OPEN WATER – THE PERFECT HOME FOR MULTIPLE FAMILIES – RELAX & ENTERTAIN! Our newly renovated home has four bedrooms, three full baths. The Master bedroom boasts a comfy king bed overlooking the pool and canal with master bathroom and a master closet that features built-in cedar storage. There are two Queen bedrooms: The Coral bedroom has its own private bathroom with walk-in shower and granite sink-top. The Aqua bedroom overlooks the pool and has sliding doors to enjoy direct access to the pool area, this room shares a double sink bathroom with the bunk room. The Kids Room includes: Double bed with twin on top and a twin trundle to sleep up to 6, the photos that show a bunk set up are not accurate - we plan to update the photos, for now please note this new bedding arrangement. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV and all include Xfinity Internet and cable access with the exception of the kids bedroom that includes a TV only. The spacious kitchen is a cooks dream with updated appliances, a granite eating and bar area with 8 stools for kitchen seating. The kitchen looks out onto the private screened-in pool, canal and outdoor dining space. The bar area adjacent to the kitchen features additional bar top seating for 4 and a separate space for storing and mixing drinks, it’s the perfect spot for entertaining. There is an attached garage with laundry area and space for one car. The welcoming living room has comfy sofas, great books and a HD flat screen smart TV for family and relaxation time. The décor is relaxed, uncluttered and filled with ocean-inspired artworks. Sitting on the dock you’ll enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets with the open water less that 1/2 mile by boat. The screened lanai and pool include a glass topped table with 6 comfortable chairs is perfect for outdoor dining by the heated pool along with several lounge chairs perfect for sunbathing and relaxing poolside. The waterfront has been newly renovated with new decking, a large sitting area with bartop seating for 4 under the festive Tiki Hut. There is plenty of room for multiple boats but does not include access to the boat lift. This waterside dock includes a built-in filet table for the guests who love fishing. And if you love to fish... right off the dock you might catch Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Catfish, Snook, small sharks and even a sawtooth shark. You will want to bring your rod, we have some available but they are often not well maintained. Access to the two-car garage is included as well as a full sized washer and dryer. This home is in an excellent location and is convenient to the Fort Myers Airport, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Fort Myers Beach, Pine Island and Downtown Fort Myers. We are 2.5 miles from downtown Cape Coral – a charming area with great restaurants, lots of shopping and is just 4 blocks from the Cape Coral Yacht Club which is currently closed for renovations - date of completion has not been published. It’s a pleasant walk or a short bike ride to both downtown or the Yacht Club area. By boat we are just a few minutes to the Caloosahatche River which takes you to Fort Myers, Sanibel & Captiva Islands or the Gulf Of Mexico. Our grandkids loved the pool—our four year old granddaughter learned to swim and do underwater somersaults during our week-long stay. The house was very nice and John was very responsive. Great patio with heated pool overlooking the canal. Nice to have three bathrooms with four bedrooms. Bicycles were nice to ride to beach 1/2 mile away and to ride around with dedicated bike lanes. Tried to stay here 2 years ago, but hurricane Ian shut us down. John was very easy to deal with for cancelation. I told him we'd try and eventually get a week in. Glad we were able to. There are lots of pool toys in the garage. Make sure to bring pool and beach towels as they are not Supplies. We brought our boat and docked it at the house easily because there were bumpers. We had a wonderful stay in this home. The home has a family-friendly layout, and the kids had a great time swimming in the pool. The home has pool toys, bikes, fishing poles, etc. My 5-year fished for the first time and is now telling everyone that he caught two catfish and two red snappers. The Pool is wonderful to cool off in. Many wonderful places to visit just a short drive. Sanibel Island to watch the sunrise from the beach. Captiva Island to shell hunt and enjoy the beautiful clear water. Rent a boat from Jensen’s while at Captiva watch the manatees, boat up to Cabbage Key for lunch.Go South to Marco Island rent a boat and explore the ten thousand island area. Finish the day at the Snook Inn for dinner on the water. Travel down to Everglades City, take an air boat ride in the Everglades have lunch at Camellia Street Grill on the water, watch the Dolphins. Short drive or boat to Pine Island, Matlacha enjoy a nice dinner at Yucatán restaurant on the water.The Host john is great. This is a very nice spacious home and in a nice neighborhood. We were close to Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers beach, great restaurants, and 1 1/2 hours from the Everglades. We have 3 boys, 20, 18, and 17 years old. With the 4 bedrooms we all had our own room and plenty of space. Even though it rained almost the entire week that we were there, we still found time to swim in the pool and fish from the dock area. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent again if in the area. The only negative is the agreement is for an 11am checkout online upon arriving the instruction manuel states checkout is at 10am, the cleaners were there at 10am we were not ready to depart until 11am as per agreement. Our two adult sons, daughter and grandson joined us. This home is in the perfect location for a short trip to Sanibel, Captiva, Ft.Myers beaches. Even close for a short drive to the Everglades and Pine Island. The home was clean as usual. We enjoy the fishing from the dock. Always a surprise and what you’ll catch. Perfect location and dock to bring down your boat. The host John is always a joy to communicate with. We have already made our two week reservations for next year.
