"From the moment we arrived at Salt of Palmar, we were immersed in an atmosphere of understated luxury and genuine Mauritian hospitality. The hotel is a true sanctuary, with elegant design, beautifully landscaped surroundings, and breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoon that create an unforgettable setting. What truly sets this property apart is its exceptional service. Every member of the team was gracious, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring our stay was flawless. Their warmth, professionalism, and thoughtful attention to every detail made us feel valued and effortlessly cared for throughout our visit. The surroundings are simply spectacular. The tranquil beachfront, lush tropical gardens, and sophisticated yet intimate ambiance make it the perfect destination for relaxation and indulgence. Every space has been carefully curated to offer comfort, serenity, and a sense of refined luxury. A special thank you to Dheeraj, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the entire team—although I regret I cannot recall everyone's names, each member of staff contributed to making our experience truly exceptional. Salt of Palmar exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a destination where impeccable service, exquisite surroundings, and authentic hospitality come together to create a truly extraordinary experience. We leave with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cove though we did experience some frustrations hence our rating of good rather than excellent. There are four eating options in the resort and we generally found the food to be very good though we were disappointed with the breakfast buffet - the food was not to the quality that we had experienced elsewhere during our stays in Africa - no chili with omelettes, tough bacon and thick bread for toast. But we had excellent meals at the Peninsular and XO (Japanese cuisine) and I would encourage visitors to attend those restaurants rather than the main one. Service fluctuated somewhat. It was generally good, and the staff were generally friendly but from time to time you could find yourself waiting for extended periods to order drinks or food, whilst staff chatted at the bar; or encounter a staff member who wasn't in their best mood. The resort has a number of included activities; and we found the included drinks under the all-inclusive option to be high quality. The room was fantastic; the music, different every night, was really good; and the overall design of the property with multiple options (restaurants, pools, sunbed areas, etc) was superb."

"Such a lovely stay. Ruth the hotel manager was such a great communicator ahead of the stay and during. She organized me some breakfast in my room as she knew I had early starts and was flexible on check out as I had came back from diving a little late. Lovely boutique hotel that exceed expectations. Thank you and I’ll be back!"

"1. Excellent location of resort. Staff was very courteous..facilities are good.. Room was beach facing 2. Check in experience was bad inspite of informing upfront had to wait for over 90 minutes post international travel.. it was a downer .. 3. We had dinner in their Indian and Thai restaurants ..taste was excellent and service was very good.. 4. other locations in Mauritius are within 1- 1.5 hours drive 5. Breakfast and Dinner buffet for vegetarian food is decent."
