  • Enjoy a quiet morning on your private balcony overlooking the lovely garden and pool. This second-floor apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Comfy king bed with 500 thread count sheets. Well-equipped kitchen. Free Wi-Fi, bikes, flat screen TV, and Linens supplied. Price base for 2 guests. Extra person per night $30 USD .

    The Abbey del Sol property has 7 comfortable apartments. Rent individually for couples and small families or in combination for groups and large families. Beautiful gardens, and a refreshing pool. 2 blocks to the beach, and 8 blocks to the town square. Central office is onsite with a friendly English-speaking staff to help you with anything you need.

The unit is very well equipped with everything you could think of. The staff are wonderful and help you out with whatever you needall issues. It was quiet and a short walk to the beach. The beauty of Puerto Morelos is that you can walk just about anywhere in a short amount of time. There are also bikes available for your use if walking isn't your thing. No complaints from us, loved every minute and hope to return.

Located about a kilometer from the main tourist area and a three minute walk to the beach. The free provision of bikes made it very convenient to explore various parts of the beach and to do daily shopping. The pool is nice to lounge in and around but to small to swim.For the best margaritas ever and wonderful fresh Mexican dishes all very reasonably priced we recommend Blue Morelos- about a 12 minute walkOverall - a wonderful stay and we will be back

We don't have any negative comments, accommodations are top notch, beach access is one minute away, all units include everything you could ever need, including beach chairs and bikes. The staff is wonderful, and will assist you when and if required. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at Abbey del Sol, whether it be a few nights, or weeks. We'll definitely be heading back for another stay!

The accommodation is located in a very calm part koijof Puerto Morelos and the rooms are spacious, very clean and nicely decorated (we stayed in a king room). Mariela and Jin were very kind and helped us with all of our questions and inquiries (and there were not few) thanks to which our overall trip in Mexico was much better - really super exceptionally amazing service that is very hard to find in any part of the world. They connected us also with their friend Thomas who was very kind and offered us good packages on snorkling and different tours (just be careful if you go for a whale shark tour to check if the partnering agency is DC Explorer as they might not be the most reliable, also the boat time is 7hours). Definitely our number one accommodation in Mexico so far (we stayed at 5 places during our 14-day trip) and we would definitely stay again if we are back in puerto morelos.

Spring getaway

We loved our stay at Abbey del Sol. The bikes were fun and the pool was perfect after ocean time. We had all the amenities we needed in number 7. Mari was so helpful ... a gem of a front line employee. Thanks for a memorable week!
