![SLEEPY HOLLOW FARM- To visit Vermont in the Fall was a dream of mine. I am so happy that I was able to do just that this year. One of the places I visited was this photographic icon in rural Vermont, the Sleepy Hollow Farm, near Woodstock. Well known by most photographers the Sleepy Hollow Farm is the place to be if you want to get that perfect classic Autumn shot and an early morning light is best to be there to capture rich deep autumn colours. Rumors has it that it was once owned by Joe Perry of Aerosmith. "This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside."

"We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks. I think a couple of things, though, could be improved. The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform...

"We absolutely loved our stay! The lake was beautiful and quiet. The kids loved the beach, playground, trampoline, and dock (aka "the runway"). There's even kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards on site. We didn't hear any road noise our entire time eventhough stores are only 10 mins away. The owners were also very nice and we look forward to camping here again!"

"Misleading. Couldn't drive in because of mud and rough terrain. Could not find owner at first. Although toni was really nice and offered us a place to stay under his deck we felt like we were imposing. Asked about a fire and we were brought next door ti another campers fire. We really felt like we were imposing on someone else quite night with there family. We ended leaving and driving home"

"Wow what an amazing stay! From checking in the amazing concierge made sure I was able to check in early. I was greeted by my first name the rest of my trip the hotel bar that was connected the last hurrah I went to every night before dinner. I had an amazing waiter Francesco I sat with the three nights in a row. He was very attentive made sure I was knowledgeable of the menu.I was traveling alone and as woman it was great to feel safe. The room was cozy and I loved the updated features to such an historical building. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. I will definitely be coming back. "
