Very interesting to visit but the Mekong river/delta is very dirty. You see everywhere plastic, foam and anything floating everywere. Not pleasing at all.

Can Tho was my favourite area to explore in Southern Vietnam. A must visit area on the Mekong Delta!

Can Tho is a much calmer and quieter city than Ho Chi Minh. It has great restaurants. We enjoyed the Mee Kong canals and seeing how people in this area live. Our biggest disappointment is all the garbage in the waterways and along the river banks.
