Spent a couple of days at The Centennial Hotel. It was very clean, staff were friendly bed very comfortable with nice quality bedding. Breakfast was very nice. Also WiFi and parking. Good location. Excellent.

The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean as were the common areas. Every member of staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast ample and delicious.

Everything worked, the staff, the amenities, restaurant, bar, check in and out, car park. All very efficiently run and reasonably priced. Tidy and good looking place, perfectly situated to explore Cambridge, right opposite the Botanical gardens and with the Railway station less than a 10 minute walk. Nice breakfast and although we did not indulge, they had a perfectly reasonable evening menu. Would stay again for sure.

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise, with a small but comfortable and spotlessly clean room. The bathroom was very good, again spotless, with lovely towels, and an excellent shower. Breakfast was cooked fresh, with reasonable choice, and very good service by pleasant staff. Indeed, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, which with the fairly central location in the city, was a big plus. I'd recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Centennial was a wonderful stop for a solo traveler. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and service was great. The rooms and spaces were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a wonderful stay and close to the Cambridge station. It’s about a mile walk to the city center, which isn’t as far as it sounds. Two things to note: there is no elevator, but the staff will take your bags upstairs if you need the help. If you are someone who is accustomed to air conditioning, bring a travel fan. The rooms can get quite warm in the afternoon/early evening. To be fair, I stayed late summer during a bit of a heat wave. I would recommend this hotel for the price, convenience, charm, and restaurant.

The room was clean and the staff were excellent. There is a large sitting room off the reception area that is a great place to meet people or just rest with your party during the visit, which is fantastic. The only challenge was the fire alarm in the room had a VERY bright light that ultimately had to cover with a towel to get off to sleep. Also, the windows aren't great at drowning out the road noise, which is a common issue in hotels on these busy roads, so be sure to bring ear plugs with you. Being in the loft also means the ceilings taper away and you have to be careful of bumping your head, which I did a couple of times. Over all it was a really nice stay and I would consider this again for sure.
