"The hotel is great for what we needed, a budget stay for overnight. The grounds are kept up well, the saguaro cacti are impressive! Evening staff was on point and very professional. Breakfast was better than expected, hot selections were well stocked, lots of seating. This is not a big chain hotel, so I felt like there was a bit more care from the staff. Dining for early in the day, we recommend Lola's Kitchen! Be sure to check the hours open to see if it fits in your schedule."

"Nice place for a quick stopover on a road trip. Inexpensive and pet-friendly, both of which are top criteria for us. It's no-frills but the people (married couple?) who checked us in were nice, the room was clean, and the water was hot. There are a TON of dining options within easy walking distance, including Barstow Station which is a fun and quirky roadside attraction. As a one-night road trip stopping point, couldn't really ask for more. "
